As you all know, I love hosting my own Friendsgiving feast with my friends, but this year I was invited to the Best Friends Friendsgiving Feast presented by Tasty and flavored by Del Monte ®. Del Monte was kind enough to sponsor us at this event and I attended the event with my BFF and contributor Salby. The event was also hosted by the amazing Tiffany Thiessen and it was fabulous! I was a huge “Saved By The Bell” fan as a kid, so this was a full circle moment for me to be at a Friendsgiving with Tiffany Thiessen. We enjoyed fresh and flavorful dishes like maple bacon cornbread and cheddar and chile green bean casserole, featuring Del Monte’s quality veggies. Del Monte has a heritage of fresh-picked goodness, perfect for ingredients in your upcoming Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving dishes, or even for a fun get-together!
The event was styled beautifully. As you can see from the pictures, there were beautiful flowers everywhere!
The bar was serving amazing drinks like spiked limeaide, which was my favorite.
If you were following me on my instagram stories, you would have seen I was sharing with hashtag #TastyFriendsgiving. For every post I did, Del Monte will donate 100 pounds of food per post to Feeding America. I shared a bunch, since I thought this was a fabulous idea and I love helping those in need especially during this holiday season.
The table settings were set like a family style dinner and it was incredible. The center of the table had a runner essentially made out of fresh fruits and flowers going down the center of the table.

And we got to make our own little napkin rings at a DIY station they had set up! It was so much fun to make this little turkey themed napkin ring for my place setting.
The menu was also incredible as you can see below.
Before they served the family style meal, we were treated to delicious hors d’oeuvres being passed around by servers. My favorite was this dumpling, which I believe was made out of fresh squash. Del Monte did an amazing job on the food, which was not a surprise! Del Monte has been the trusted vegetable brand for families since 1886. Del Monte’s vegetables are picked at the peak of ripeness and packed within hours with just water and a dash of sea salt. Nothing else!
And in case you didn’t know, Del Monte has been working with family farmers in the United States for generations and their vegetables are non-GMO and packed in non-BPA intent cans.
When I’m eating good and having a blast that makes me want to do a happy dance, which I promptly did at all the fun photo booths and colorful walls they had decorated.
As you can see from the photos, we were having a blast!
After all the pictures were taken, we sat down for one of the most delicious Friendsgiving feasts I’ve ever had! My favorites were the maple bacon cornbread, (which used Del Monte® Whole Kernel Corn)…

And the cheddar and chile green bean casserole made with Del Monte® Blue Lake Cut Green Beans!
Everything honestly tasted amazing and it totally put me right in Thanksgiving season mode.
We ended the night with a slice of this amazing cream cheese pie and pecan pie, which were original family recipes of Tiffany Thiessen. They were beyond tasty and I love any pie that reminds me of a tasty cheesecake. Pecan pie is also my favorite kind of pie!
Lastly, we chatted and got to meet the amazing Tiffany Thiessen. She gladly took pictures with me and Salby. She’s so amazing and it was an absolute delight to be able to attend a Friendsgiving with her.
We left this amazing Friendsgiving with a gift basket of goodies to aid in our own Friendsgiving feasts.
It was such a fantastic night and I can’t thank Del Monte, Buzzfeed Tasty, and Tiffany Thiessen enough for having us. It was a night to remember and filled with so many amazing dishes that I can’t wait to make at home with my Del Monte!
It was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season for us!
