Hey All!
Are you beginning to think of new years resolutions? Are you looking forward to the new year?
I know I am and I’ve already began looking to the future. I went back to school to try to make a better life for my family. And I’m hoping a Masters degree in Marketing will not only help my family and me get a better job, but help me with my blog as well.. I want to make next year so much better than 2010! I truly do want it to be year for changes and growth for me and my family.
I feel like I have to make a plan for myself starting today to prepare. Are you already making plans for the new year?
I first off am already searching for a new job! I plan to have a new Job as soon as possible in the new year. I want a job that I can see a future in and be happy doing it for the rest of my life. Hence why I’m going back to school of Marketing, since this blog has really sparked my love of publicity and marketing.
Next I plan to be HEALTHY. I had a cancer scare this year, and it’s honestly because I’m not taking as good of care of myself as I should. I want to lose weight before I get any older and it only get’s harder to lose weight as you get older. You ladies know what I mean. Especially after you have kids!
I know I need eat healthier and excersize again! I have a gym membership I don’t even use, but I pay for every month. It’s ridiculous. I used to go non stop with my family, but haven’t had time as of late. And I’ve gain a ton of weight since I stopped going. I need to get back on track with my diet and exercise and I know I’ll lose that weight.
I plan to have all our credit card debt paid off by the summer! I want to really budget and spend less money so we can pay off all the debt faster. I want to start saving money for our future as well and for emergencies. I live in California land of earthquakes, I’m ashamed I don’t have tons of money saved if a huge earthquake happens. Luckily I do have earthquake insurance and renters insurance, but still I’d like to have money saved for emergencies or just to have money for anything we want to do as a family or if one of us gets unemployed, I want to be ready for it.
I want to be successful in my career and feel a sense of pride when I get that paycheck for a job I love doing. I want my family to really be proud of me and everything I’m doing and show my teen that he can truly live his dreams in doing something he loves doing in his life.
I want to be more social and build my network of friends. I’ve lost so many friends for various reasons, like they moved away, or are just to busy with family life and I’d like to have that friendship with a group of women again. So I’ve joined Meetup.com in hopes that it will help me meet more people and hopefully make some more girl friends. I do have a small circle of girlfriends and gay gal pals, but I’d love it to be bigger!
I want to be so successful with my blog and work that I end up on Oprah’s new show and network! Have you heard of Own? I can’t wait for it!

Those are some of my plans and aspirations. I hope this NEW YEAR brings change for me and I can accomplish my goals! I know I have many plans for myself and the future of my family. I know I will do everything in my power to accomplish them. Even if I don’t do everything I plan to, I know I’m going to at least try and if I succeed in some but now all I’ll be proud of myself for whatever I accomplish.
