Peter Pan At the El Capitan Is Magical!

PeterPan-BluRay

Hey All!

We recently had the opportunity to see one of my all time favorite Disney Movies Peter Pan on the big screen at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood! I had never seen it on the big screen so I was thrilled to attend this one in a life time opportunity. Honestly Peter Pan is my favorite Disney Movie!  I never wanted to grow up as a kid. Before the film started there was a Panel moderated by Leonard Maltin and included Kathryn Beaumont (voice of Wendy and who I will be meeting soon), Margaret Kerry (reference model for Tinker Bell), and Ted Thomas (son of Frank Thomas, one of Walt Disney’s original Nine Old Men Animators “Frank and Ollie”).

It was a magical night that also included an audience of D23 Members!

On Saturdays and Sundays, El Capitan guests may also enjoy a character breakfast with Jake from “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” at Disney’s Soda Fountain & Studio Store, and then see the 10 a.m. showing of the movie! Seating is limited and reservations are required.

The El Capitan Theatre will also host Tiny Tot Tuesday every Tuesday during the engagement!! During these special screenings of “Peter Pan,” parents and small children can enjoy the movie in a Tiny Tot-friendly way – complete with lights dimmed rather than out and reduced sound levels.

Thinking of the happiest things as Peter Pan soars to spectacular new heights! Bid your cares good-bye as Wendy and her brothers embark on fantastic adventures with the hero of their bedtime stories….Peter Pan!! With faith, trust and Tinker Bell’s pixie dust, Peter teaches them how to fly and leads them to the “second star to the right” and beyond…to Never Land!
