Quick Tips For Cleaning & A Giveaway!

Hey All!

We travel a lot during Spring break and Summer as a family. That means no one is home to do the laundry or constant dusting that is needed around the house. Dust builds up fast and since I can’t afford a cleaning lady to clean while we’re away,  I’m left with a bunch of cleaning up to do when we return. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to spend a lot of time cleaning. I like my cleaning to be quick and effective, so that I can get on with my life and do the things that I actually enjoy doing. Good thing I’ve got my Clorox® Products so I can clean-up quickly and confidently, and move on with my life. Clorox® has been around 100+ years (in case you didn’t know) and I feel like I’ve been using their products for that amount of time. While the times may have changed, the messes have stayed the same. Having some great tips and some great products do just the trick to get the cleaning done quickly.

Thankfully Clorox® has the products to clean-up everything from baby food on the floor to baby spit-up on a onesie. The Tips section of Clorox.com is filled with useful how-to’s, tips and hacks to help tackle any mess. I’ve been using their tips a lot lately which has made my cleaning go all the more faster.

For example…Did you know that you can use Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes on finished wood surfaces and shiny surfaces like mirrors and glass? It’s a quick and easy way to keep all your household surfaces clean and disinfected. They’re safe on wood and have a clear-drying formula, so they work great on shiny surfaces. They work perfectly on gold pineapples that need dusting and cleaning.

Their new Clorox® Triple Action Dust Wipes let you dust an entire room with a single wipe. These dry, non-abrasive wipes feature an interlocking weave that traps and locks dust, allergens like pet dander, dust mite matter and pest matter and even hair! Use them on furniture, electronics, blinds, frames, baseboards, floors and more.

I use these every where as you can see! I have a lot of pineapples and tables that need dusting and these do just the trick for easy dusting.

You can also hit all the dirt-and-germ hotspots in your home, including door handles, TV remotes and more with these wipe or with some other easy Clorox® products.

For a quick clean:

Use Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes on:

  • Refrigerator and microwave door handles
  • Kitchen and bathroom faucets
  • Toilet handles
  • TV remotes
  • Phone receivers
  • Light switches
  • Doorknobs

For a deeper clean:

In addition to the above steps:

  • Disinfect kitchen and bathroom countertops with Clorox® Clean-Up® Cleaner with Bleach or Clorox® Disinfecting Bathroom Cleaner.
  • Sanitize cutting boards with Clorox®  Regular-Bleach
  • Spray the tub or shower with a disinfectant like Clorox® Disinfecting Bathroom Cleaner.
  • Clean the toilet bowl, seat and cover with Clorox® Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Bleach.
  • Run an empty load in the washing machine with ½ cup Clorox® Regular-Bleach to kill bacteria and viruses spread by contaminated clothing.
  • Sweep and mop the kitchen and bathroom floors with Clorox® Disinfecting Floor and Surface Cleaner.
