Hey All!
I have been in a battle with my skin since I was about 13 years old. I’ve taken pills, prescriptions, creams, you name it, to battle the breakouts that come with having Rosacea. I’ve been wearing make up for just as long as well in an attempt to hide my skin. I used to be thrilled when I had makeup done by a professional since they would do such an amazing job covering all my red acne scars or red dry skin. I used to spend so much time and energy on doing my make up and I’m happy that with age I now don’t stress about trying to cover my blemishes as much as I used to. I think everyone should be comfortable in their own skin and be proud of what they have, because in all honesty some people may have it a lot worse. I know my red skin and a few blemishes are nothing compared to people with serious skin issues, so who am I to complain. I’m brave enough to show my bare skin to you all and put myself out there and I think everyone should do the same, whether it’s simply putting a picture of yourself with no make up on facebook, you should just put yourself out there and be proud!
