Hey All!
I love to craft and I recently got my own Silhouette Portrait™ machine and some Silhouette Chipboard. I knew I had to make something fun and handy for our home. I decided to make a Dry-Erase Calendar with a picture frame I had lying around. This was so simple to make and I think it came out amazing! Hope you all like it!
Here is what I used to make it:
- A frame I had lying around the house.
- Double sided tape
- Silhouette Chipboard
- I downloaded the following patterns for my Silhouette.
- 6 borders (Design #27671)
- May (Design #10723)
- 3×4 life cards days of the week (Design #36961)
- Any scrap booking paper.
To make this I simply used Silhouette Portrait™ machine and the software to cut out the days of the week, the calendar shape, and the word “May.”
I used the Silhouette Chipboard as a background and I also used it as the paper to cut out the word “May.”
I used double sided tape to stick the scrap booking paper, calendar and the word May to the chipboard.
As you can see the Silhouette cuts out the shapes extremely well. Everything is clean and looks amazing.
The frame has glass on it so you can write in whatever you need with a dry erase marker. That’s all you have to do and of course you can design this and make the layout for your calendar how ever you’d like.
It was super easy to do and if you’d like to get some chipboard to make this fabulous craft yourself Silhouette is having a great promotion right now!
