Hey All!
Today, I’m going to show you how to keep your #Patchgame strong when you go back-to-school this year. This is the first of cute and easy back-to-school DIY ideas I’ll be sharing within the next week. I’m super excited to be kicking it all off with this super cute and ridiculously easy to make locker flair. They are some DIY Patch Locker Magnets! This little pink locker is keeping it’s #Patchgame strong for sure! You can hold your school schedule, calendar, locker posters, and more with this cute little locker magnets. I didn’t have a full sized locker, but I wanted to give you an idea of how cute they would look on your locker, so I made a mini version complete with mini back back, pink laptop, crayons, emoji rubix cube and pencils. It’s so adorable and I love all things MINI!
To make these locker magnets you’ll need:
- A Variety of thick round heavy duty magnets, Like These Magnets I got from Amazon, which I used. They come in small (3/4″ dia.), medium (1 3/8″ dia.) and large (1 1/2″ dia.) magnets. You’ll have a size for what ever size patch you use.
- Glue Gun
- Any variety patches you’d like to use. I used patches from Wildflower & Co, Winks For Days, Ban.do, Lucky Dip Club, Bel’s Art World, Hand Over Your Fairy Cakes, Elizabeth Scoper Art, and Betsy White. Just visit these shops and you’ll find all the patches I used in this DIY. I used them because I had a small MINI locker to work with and needed to make small magnets. But you can use any size patch you’d like or make them mini like me so you can fill you locker door with them!
- And if you want to decorate a mini pink locker with them, This is the Mini Pink Locker I used.
This DIY will literally take you five minutes to do!
First you get and pick your patches out, which are the ones you will turn into magnets. Match the patches with the appropriate sized matching magnets.
You don’t want to be able to see the magnets behind the patches. You then simply glue the patch onto a magnet that fits hidden behind the patch with your glue gun.
Hold the magnet and patch together so they secure flat together and boom you’ve got yourself the best locker magnets ever! You can make as many as you’d like and you can cover your whole locker magnet door.
Locker flair like you just don’t care!
You need to have some super cute magnets to hang all your important locker papers with.
You also need to have patch game magnets to give your locker posters some added flair. You can have them all over the inside of your locker door.
And yes that’s a pink mini laptop inside the mini locker! Too cute! I know!
Not going back to school, but still want to make these? You can definitely still make these fun patch magnets. You can put these on your fridge or get yourself a mini locker like this one and use it as a little patch covered jewelry box.
Patch covered magnets never go out of style folks!
I hope you enjoy this easy and fun back to school DIY as much as I do. You keep your patch game strong this school year!
