Hey All!
Nothing is more magical than spending the holidays at the Disneyland Resort! It’s a family tradition now in my family that we always go during the holidays to celebrate Christmas and Three Kings aka Tres Reyes. Every year we visit it seems more magical then the year before.
As Deluxe annual pass members we can visit Disneyland very often, but nothing compares to Disneyland during the holidays.
Main street is decked out in their holiday best…
And so is Sleeping Beauty’s castle.
How spectacular does it look? Amazing! I love the way it looks lit up at night. There is nothing like the magic of Disneyland for the holidays.
We came dressed in our Disney princess best to enjoy the holiday filled day.
We started our day at the Carnation Cafe as it’s a tradition for us to get our Mickey Waffles before we tackle the park.
The food is always amazing at Carnation and so is the service. We snapped a quick selfie to show our #DisneySide before we tackled all the parks have to offer for the holidays.
I did stop to do some Holiday shopping before proceeding to the parks as I like to make sure I get everything I want before the crowds come to the park.
How adorable are these Minnie Santa Hats? So festive and fun!
Lets not forget all the tasty holiday treats the Disneyland resort has to offer.
You can find everything from amazing shortbread cookies to handmade and ready made delicious candy canes at the park. You do have to get a wrist band on certain days at the park to get a fresh made candy cane.
After the shopping was done it was off to enjoy the park.
It’s a small world Holiday is back!
I love this ride as it’s a ride the whole family of all ages can enjoy!
The decor through out the ride is spectacular.
I always notice something different each time I ride it with my family each year. I can’t believe 2015 is almost here. Oh how 2014 has flown by!
We also love riding the Jingle Cruise aka the Jungle Cruise! It gets a holiday makeover—with a boatload of new jokes sure to “sleigh” you.
The Haunted Mansion Holiday is also back and better than ever!
Jack Skellington gives the mansion a Christmas makeover that is sure to delight and fright even the foulest fiends. Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas inspires the great transformation from haunted house to Halloween Town, brimming with jack-o-lanterns and wreaths, sinister toys and kooky characters from the hit animated film. Don’t miss the ginger-dread houses and blood-curdling pies as the Oogie Boogie Man and others scare up some extra festive fun. Season’s Screamings, everyone!
The A Christmas Fanstasy Parade is truly spectacular and honestly one of my favorite parts of the Holidays at Disneyland! Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and more, don their most festive apparel for this sensational seasonal tradition. It’s a flurry of Floats and Dancers!
You can Ring in the season with prancing reindeer, marching toy soldiers, dancing gingerbread cookies and so much merriment.
Delightful Highlights Include:
Mickey and Minnie work with Donald and Daisy to organize letters to Santa…
Woody and Buzz wave from atop giant wooden building blocks…
Dancing Snowman and Snow Women which are beyond adorable…
Tigger and all his Hundred Acre friends…
Beautiful Holiday Trees and songs…
Anna, Elsa and Olaf give a warm winter welcome from their new fantastic Frozen float.
What kid doesn’t want to see Anna, Elsa and Olaf live this holiday season!
BEYOND adorable Gingerbread men dancing about…
Make sure you arrive early to find the best-possible viewing spot—especially if you plan to see the show along Main Street, U.S.A. You definitely want so see these adorable Gingerbread men up close and personal.
I can’t get enough of them as they are so darn cute!
The Disney Princesses dance and curtsy at the Candlelight Ball. You can check out more photos of them and videos on my Instagram account as I always do a hundred pics and shares on Instagram when I go to Disneyland! Check out hashtag #DisneyHolidays as well! You can see one of the videos below.
And, of course, Santa rides high in his sleigh filled with presents and good cheer. You can also take your kids to see Santa and make some Holiday cookies at the Jingle Jangle Jamboree!
There is so much to do at the Disneyland park and every where you turn is something festive to get you in the holiday spirit.
Be sure to end your night at the Disneyland park as the Fireworks shows change often to celebrate holidays, but the feeling of joy and wonder at these nighttime spectaculars is present throughout the seasons.
Be sure to also head over to the California Adventure park to check out the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party! Catch the joyous spirit of the holidays during a high-energy street party. Leading the jubilation are the Three Caballeros: Donald Duck and his amigos Panchito from Mexico and Jose from Brazil.
Joining the trio of feathered friends are authentic mariachi and samba musicians, folklorico dancers, more Disney Characters and amazing 12-foot-tall mojiganga puppets of Santa and Mrs. Claus!
There is also a fun and fabulous craft station your kids will surely enjoy.
They can color in their ¡Viva Navidad! crowns…
