CLOSED-Spooky! Vampire Boy’s Good Night – Book Review & GIVEAWAY! Swaggerific Halloween Feature

Hey all!

Are you looking for a lovely bed time story to tell your kids this Halloween? Or How about just a fun tale to tell your child’s Halloween Sleep over party guests?

Well Vampire Boy’s Good Night is an adorable picture book that tells the perfect tale for Halloween. It was written New York Times best-selling illustrator Lisa Brown.

And just so you know, Lisa is the illustrator of such titles as SOMETIMES YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT, THE LATKE WHO COULDN’T STOP SCREAMING, and HOW TO BE, A CCBC Choice Book and an Association of Bestsellers for the Children Best Book. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and son. You can visit Lisa online at www.americanchickens.com and www.vampireboysgoodnight.com. I digress…

I wish I could show you all the amazing illustrations of this book! But instead here is a trailer I found that will give you a small glimpse of how fabulous this book looks.

Doesn’t it look amazing? It’s right on time for Halloween! This book is a perfect TREAT for me and my family.

On October 31st when the sun goes down and every thing’s “wonderfully cold and dark” vampire boy Bela wakes and, with his little witch friend Morgan, climbs on a broomstick and flies into the night in search of elusive creatures known as “children.” What they find just might surprise them this Halloween Night!

Each page of this charming gothic tale is filled, corner to corner, with beautifully rich images.  I love that he has his own Butler! What Bat boy doesn’t? And the colors used in the illustrations are so vibrant, any child will love gazing at these pictures as they read along!

This is one of my favorite pages in the book! Your children will discover the whimsical details created by Lisa Brown – from the books strewn about Bela’s bedroom to witches feet poking out the bottom of Morgan’s house – the clever illustrations will draw readers back time and again to relive Bela and Morgan’s adventure in VAMPIRE BOY’S GOOD NIGHT.

It’s not too spooky so don’t fret too much kiddies, But is isn’t so sweet either! So bewareeeee. Muahhahaha. That’s my spooky laugh.

Publisher’s Weekly,  gave Vampire Boy’s Good Night a starred review:  “The lyrical, understated prose and clever outsider’s perspective on the holiday might make this a new seasonal favorite.” I’m certain it will as well!

Vampire Boy’s Good Night is available on Amazon.com and other book and ebook retail locations.
