Hey All!

Way back in the day, Garments were sewn to survive more than a hard day’s work. They were engineered to last for a very long time. I am a firm believer of buying products that will last you almost a lifetime. One company that makes clothing like this is Steam Horse Dry Goods Co. They make rugged durable and lasting work wear. They use performance fabrics like durable water-repellant Cannonball duck canvas and thoughtful design details like gussets for easier bending and stretching.

I got a few of their amazing products for my fiance’. They came uniquely wrapped in brown paper and bakers twine with a fabulous pencil.

It’s such a great way to package a gift for the holidays. I didn’t even have to wrap my gift for him. It came perfect as is!

I did have to open this package so I could show you what’s inside, but it was very easy to wrap back up. Inside was a Sawmill Paul Wool Sweater, a Thermal Henley Shirt in Red, and a Collectible Golden Spike Bandana.

The Sawmill Paul Wool Sweater is an army style wool sweater that can go from the sawmill to the shipyard with enough warmth to last many winters.

Sawmill Paul Sweater

It’s made of 100% Heather grey Rag wool with a vintage five button cowl neck for ultimate ventilation. It has a Rib knit construction for best fit and it’s sewn in America!

Red Henley

This Thermal Henley Shirt in Red will shield you from a bitter winter chill by layering this classic long sleeve thermal shirt underneath your everyday workwear. It’s made of 55% Cotton and 45% Polyester.Ā  It has a thermal baby waffle-weave for lightweight insulation and Long sleeves with a 4-button placket on chest for ventilation. It has an extra long torso design so it stays tucked in easily. It too is sewn in America!

As a surprise bonus we got a Collectible Golden Spike Bandana.

When the Jupiter met the 119 at Promontory Summit in 1869, the United States was truly unified by a railroad system that changed the future of our country. This collectible bandana commemorates the sweat and grueling labor of the transcontinental railroad workers.

These clothes are not only only well made, they are fashionable and make a great gift idea for those manly men this holiday season.
