Hey All!
It’s that time of year when you have to buy so many things for the new school year for your kids. These classes are often so hard and out of my league that I need to get our teen awesome calculator like those from Texas Instruments. I’m super thankful (TI) wanted to make sure that he is equipped with the latest tech tool for his math and science classes.
We were sent a TI‑84 Plus C Silver Edition Graphing Calculator for him to use and it’s worked out great. Honestly I was never good at Math and he’s had to show me how to use this one as graphs and this kind of math is way out of my league.
Here are some of the Key Features he loves about this Calculator:
- High resolution, full-color backlit display
- TI Rechargeable Battery
- Familiar TI-84 Plus functionality
- Import and use images*
- Customizable color slide cases and faceplates
This is why I love the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition…
It is is approved for use on the following exams:
- PSAT**, SAT**, and ACT® college entrance exams
- AP** Exams that allow or require a graphing calculator
- Praxis™ tests that allow or require a graphing calculator
- Approved for use on the IB exam
- Familiar TI-84 Plus Family Functionality
The Display on this calculator is really amazing. My camera doesn’t do it justice.
You can visualize concepts clearly and make faster, stronger connections between equations, data, and graphs in full color.
It also features:
- Enhanced screen readability with high-resolution, backlit display
- Distinguish between multiple graphs and plots with color-coded equations, plots and objects
- Make graphs easier to read by adding grid lines
If you’re looking for a graphing calculator for your teens High School Math or Science classes I highly recommend you get a TI‑84 Plus C Silver Edition! It will run you about $118, so it is pricey, but it’s worth every penny to give your kids the best they can use for their studies.

Those are nice to have! 🙂
wow. these are way nicer than the graphing calculators I used when I was in high school.
They are just starting to let the kids use calculators in 7th grade for my oldest. It is only a matter of time before I need one of these.
My husband is a math geek and would totally think this was an awesome present.
Wow! Those calculators have come a long way.
I remember needing these big calculators when I was in school. I never realized how expensive they were though. WOW!
I paid $110.00 for a TI-10 back in 70’s.
Was glad to get it as I was in electronics clall.
class is the correct spelling..
