Can you believe the Berenstain Bears are 50 Years old! I can’t believe it. I remember watching them when I was a kid and I’m so happy they they are making a come back! The fun-loving Berenstain Bears whose love, loyalty and humor allow them to overcome any obstacle that finds its way down their sunny dirt road. They have two new fun DVD sets out now called The Berenstain Bears: Golden Brother Edition and The Berenstain Bears: Golden Sister Edition. These will be available exclusively at Walmart and Sam’s Club stores in the U.S. for about $19.99 and each comes with a high-quality 10” plush Brother Bear or Sister Bear.
Here is a little about The Berenstain Bears: Golden Brother Edition:
Brother Bear is 10 years old. He is very sports-minded, with his favorite being soccer. He is also a big fan of T. Rex dinosaurs, model airplane building and “wheels” of all kinds. He often acts as protector and stands up for Sister and the smaller cubs at school.
And here is a little about The Berenstain Bears: Golden Sister Edition:
Sister Bear is a highly-competitive, born-to-win, self-reliant third-grader, who is often braver than she imagines. She loves acting and the color pink. Sister is very outdoorsy and sports-minded, but she also loves fairytales, writing and jump rope.
I was thrilled to get the opportunity to get to review these great Special Edition box sets along with a great Berenstain Bears Book and a Mama bear doll. Mama bear was always so adorable in her polka dots.
Our kids didn’t grow up with the Berenstain bears, but I’m so happy we can share it with them now. It’s so great to be able to share something I loved as a child with my own children.
The kids all loved watching these. Each of the DVDs runs about 120 minutes and are so adorable to watch. They teach great life lessons and familiar experiences that children can relate too.
They are the great gifts for any child. Mark those Christmas lists early!

I remember Berenstein Bears when I was a kid! What a kid gift set!
I LOVE the Bernestein bears!! I read every book I could get my hands on.
I used to love watching this show with my kids!
I loved these books when I was younger, and them my daughter really liked them too. I love how they instill values in children, while still being fun! Brother and sister were always getting into scrapes!
My 3 year old loves to watch this show on the Sprout channel, I think she already knows the schedule because if I’m watching TV she just keeps tell me Mama Mama “Papa Bear Papa Bear” . I used to watch it as a kid too 🙂

The Berenstain Bears are 50 years old! Wow! My son and I love reading the books and watching them. This would be such a good present to give for Christmas or a birthday. Even though I am an adult, I really like the Berenstain Bears. They are so cute!
