The Holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood!

Hey All!

We had the amazing opportunity to be invited to visit the incredible Universal Studios Hollywood for “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” and “Grinchmas” 2019! I look forward to the holidays at Universal every year. It’s my favorite time of year at Universal Studios Hollywood because Grinchmas is the best. The holidays at Universal began Thursday, November 28th and run daily through Sunday, December 29th, 2019. There is so much fun for the whole family and I love that it’s perfect to bring our Bubbly baby to. It’s fun for kids and adults of all ages.

We started our day at Grinchmas! They have an all-new state-of-the-art, topsy-turvy “Grinchmas” tree that is beyond gorgeous! I love this new tree! It’s so colorful and the perfect tree for Who-ville. It’s over 55 feet in height and adorned with hundreds of ornaments and thousands of white and multi-colored LED lights.

There is a nightly Wholiday Tree lighting and there will be a display to let you know when they take place.

It looks gorgeous at night! When they do the Tree lighting, the lights are choreographed to music, brightens the merry “GrinchmasWho-lebration.

Dazzling “Grinchmas” tree lighting ceremonies that take place every evening, accompanied by a snowfall flurry, bring this annual favorite to life, creating a festival of fun fit for The Grinch, his faithful dog Max and a roster of Who-ville Whos.

At Grinchmas you can of course get meet and greets with The Grinch, his faithful dog Max and a roster of Who-ville Whos.

Sadly our visit with the Grinch didn’t go as planned and the baby went nuts, but the Grinch loved our sweaters and wanted to take a picture alone with me. Thank god the Grinch was nice about our screaming baby!

There were Whos including Cindy Lou Who who were celebrating Grinchmas and playing all the best holiday songs.

There was a Who-ville DJ who even came down to dance with us!

The Mayor of Who-ville made us an honorary Who.

I love all the fun photos you can get with the Who’s in Who-ville!

There was also this fun heart that is 3 sizes (like the Grinches heart when it grows) that you can take a photo inside.

There are lots of fun photo opps and cute Who-ville decorations to see!

I love the Grinch snowman…

And the cute gingerbread car!

There are also plenty of Who-Bilicious treats to eat!

They had Grinch cotton candy…

Hot Cocoa cupcakes…

Coconut Cream cupcakes with Candy Holy toppers…

And these amazing Grinch donuts!

I of course had to get one of these donuts!

They come in a cute Grinchmas box and are a great gift idea!

The details of this donut are amazing!

You can also write a letter to the Grinch and for every letter written Universal will donate to charity that helps schools!

There is also lots of amazing Grinchmas merch to buy!

I’m obsessed with this Grinch Loungefly backpack…

And these cute ornaments…

And this amazing stocking!

We always have very Happy Who-bilation celebration.

From Who-ville we made our way to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The whole park is decorated for the holidays. You can even see Spongebob below is dressed in his holiday best. Spirited holiday décor and festive whimsy will also permeate throughout the theme park, bringing a crew of very merry and mischievous Minions to “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem” and “Super Silly Fun Land” to gleefully spread Christmas cheer to visitors of all ages.

Hogsmeade village is decorated for the holidays and it’s gorgeous!

It’s become an annual family tradition for us to enjoy “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter”. The quaint town of Hogsmeade village is enchanted with seasonal décor uniquely themed to each of the individual storefronts and a dazzling light projection spectacular brings the iconic Hogwarts™ castle to life.

As night falls on Hogsmeade village, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts™ Castle” illuminates Hogwarts™ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with colorful imagery and impressive dimensional animations that dance across Hogwarts castle in tandem to a musical arrangement from the Harry Potter movies. It’s a sight to see and not to be missed!

There are also musical performances from the a cappella Frog Choir, comprised of Hogwarts students and their giant throaty frogs, entertain guests with their harmonized holiday themed songs and fill the land with holiday cheer. We saw them and you can take photos with them after they finish singing.

There is also yummy holiday-themed fare and hot butterbeer at “The Three Broomsticks”!

You can enjoy the English Holiday Dinner and so many amazing menu items.

I got the roasted chicken and hot butterbeer.

Hot butterbeer is my favorite as it tastes amazing hot and when it cools it’s still good!

You can get it hot or cold! You can even get it cold for the butterbeer cart.

You can take photos with the conductor of the Hogwarts Express…

Get yourself an Owl to send your messages with…

And pick up some sweet treats at Honeydukes.

Honeydukes is decorated for the holidays on the inside and outside.

You can pick up a Ginger Newt Cookies…

And some Pumpkin Pasties, which are like Pumpkin Pie hand pies.

You can also get some awesome Harry Potter holiday themed merch like these amazing stockings…

And these gorgeous ornaments.
