The Muppets! #Movie #Review! I loved it & Here’s why you will too! #muppets #themuppets #muppet

Hey All!

You all know I love the Muppets. This is one of my favorite Muppet scenes ever from my favorite muppet movie “The Muppets Take Manhattan!”

I have to say I NEVER thought any muppet movie made today would take the place of my eternal love of The Muppets Take Manhattan, but I have to admit that the new movie for the Muppets that came out last night has done the impossible. It’s my new FAVORITE MUPPET MOVIE.Ā  I was like giddy school girl when they announced the new movie for the Muppets was being made and when I got the opportunity to meet the Muppets, interview some of the cast and crew, and now have seen the movie it’s all come full circle. I’m now a full on Muppet Maniac and my family is too. Before I share why I love the movie I have to share my Muppet Outfit! I was dressed entirely in muppet gear for the movie. My teen and fiance wore Muppets tees but I wanted to go all out!

And we were off to see the Muppets! Forget that other Movie coming out this week. Hint Hint see the pic below. Go See the Muppets!

I loved The Muppets! I laughed, I cried, I smiled the whole time I watched this movie. It reminded me of an old time Musical except with Muppets. The Muppets always have musical numbers, but this had full on human musical numbers. People dancing in the street kinda musical, if you know what I mean.Ā  And I loved every second of it. This is the first Muppets movie in twelve years and it’s been way too long I have to say!

Also I have to mention the Pixar Toy Story short called Small Fry that shows before the movie. It was laugh out loud hilarious! It shows how discarded fast food fun meal toys feel and use a self help group to deal with being discarded. This short on top of the movie is worth every penny you will spend to see The Muppets I promise you! You will love it! I digress… Back to the Muppets!

Itā€™s really a feel good movie for the whole family. But it is also filled with lots or drama, positive messages of that Never give up on your dreams message the Muppets our known for and a real throw back to the movies of the past with some updated fun for today.

I shed tears in this movie. Yes I cried. When Kermit is singing about how he misses the old gang and how they are just memories to him now, niagra falls I tell you, or when Kermit is trying to get Ms. Piggy to join them to do a come back show to save the Muppet Theater, and Piggy says lines like “You can’t even tell me you need me.” Tears! The entire film has incredibly nostalgic and touching moments that will honestly make you tear up! Even grown men were crying in the theater. My teen was too. Don’t tell him I told you.

It wasn’t all tears I promise. It was a fun and hilarious movie as well. Who wouldn’t laugh at Animal in a self help anger management group? And the songs in the movie just make you feel all warm and fozzy inside, I mean fuzzy. Songs like ā€œLifeā€™s a Happy Songā€ orĀ  ā€œMe Partyā€ leave you smiling through the entire number and are hilarious at the same time!

The human cast of Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper do a fantastic job and are a perfect Match for the Muppets. Seeing Chris Cooper rap almost made me laugh out of my seat!Ā  And the slew cameos in the film from other celebrities stood true to the Muppet Movie Natalgia! You had cameos from celebs like Niel Patrick Harris,Ā  Jack Black, and Selena Gomez to name a few!

It is the perfect movie to see with your family this Thanksgiving. I’m not just saying that because I’m a Muppet manic. No sir.

Check out one of my favorite clips below to see a little of the film for yourself!

If this clip doesn’t show you the feel good fun and how great this would be to see this film with your family, I don’t know what will. You just have to see for yourself or Take my word for it that your family will love it just as much as mine did! If you love the Muppets, go see this film now!
