Hey All!

I don’t know if your political or not, but even if you aren’t you should at least care about who is running our country as it can affect all of our lives. Latinos are currently the largest population in this country today and they can essentially decide the outcome of an election if they all went out and voted! I myself always vote, being a Latina I do feel strongly that everyone should watch the We Decide Latino town hall special that will be premiering today, Sunday August 19th, on nuvoTV at 8PM. Latinos should want to hear what each Presidential Candidate has to say about the Latino community and population and what their stances are on the issues being faced by Latinos.

Issues like immigration reform, fair wages,  education programs, and unemploymet are issues I care about and feel all Latinos should care about. I hate learning about people being deported unfairly even when they are hard workers, who in all honesty are doing most of the hard jobs people often don’t want to do for less than minimum wage.

The show will be moderated by award-winning journalist Natalie Morales and will feature a panel of high-profile experts who will engage with a live audience and other virtual participants connecting through social media platforms. The hour-long program will explore how the presidential candidates are addressing issues specific to America’s Latinos, including unemployment, healthcare and education.

I think having the right person working in our government and representing the voice of a people should understand our community and be the right person for the job.

2006 – 20.6%
2010 – 26.6%
