The Yummy Knott’s Boysenberry Festival 2018!

Hey All!

This past weekend we were lucky enough to be invited to attend the amazing Knott’s Berry Farm Boysenberry Festival media day thanks to the amazing folks at Knott’s Berry Farm. I’m sure you all saw all the fun on our Instagram stories as we ate our way through the festival. I look forward to it every year! The food is so good and it’s soooooo much fun to go to. You get the best boysenberry yummy goodness you can find and fun rides to enjoy. It’s the best of both words! This year the festival goes from March 16th to April 8th.

We were given a Wine and Craft Brew Tasting card, some super cute commemorative postcards, and a Boysenberry Festival tasting card! You can sample so many amazing foods at the festival with the Boysenberry Festival Tasting Card. For $30, you can try 8 boysenberry foods. If you love one, you can go and get another one as the card isn’t set to one individual food to try.

The Boysenberry Festival Tasting Card can be purchased online or inside Knott’s Berry Farm. Just ask someone at information where you can buy one. You can see the tasting card below.

Snoopy and Woodstock are also ready for Easter, so get those Easter pics in too while you’re there.

There was boysenberry fun everywhere you looked!

You head to each location listed on the tasting card to try each food. We started with the Boysenberry Elote.

It was one of my favorite things to try at the festival. It’s apparently new for this years festival! I hope it comes back next year, as it was super tasty!

It’s a mix of grilled corn on the cob, boysenberry mayo, boysenberry butter, cayenne and lemon pepper, and parmesan cheese.

We then headed to Spurs Chop house where we found two more samples and the boysenberry chicken wing sample stand.

At Spurs you can try the Boysenberry Pierogies…

And Slow-Cooked Boysenberry Short Ribs. My hubby was obsessed with these short ribs and he said they were probably the best he’s ever had! I was obsessed with the Pierogies!

As soon as we got out of Spurs we tried the Boysenberry Chicken Wings. They are Chicken wings braised in Boysenberry Buffalo Sauce! They are my second favorite food to sample at the festival!

We then switched up the savory with some sweet by having a Boysenberry Coconut Macaroon. It’s a Boysenberry Coconut Macaroon dipped in Chocolate Ganache.

Next we had a Boysenberry Hummus With Grilled Pita. It’s hummus made with Fresh Frozen Boysenberries and served with grilled pita bread.

After that we had the Boysenberry Quesadilla.

Which I had with the most delicious Boysenberry Lemonade. It’s located at Mix-It-Up and they make it fresh on site. They literally squeeze the lemons right in front of you. I had two glasses of this I loved it so much!

Lastly we had the Boysenberry Grilled Sausage on a Bun. It was my third favorite thing to try! It’s a grilled boysenberry sausage on a fresh baked roll. They also have Boysenberry Ketchup, Relish, Mustard Location condiments to go on it.

We loved the taste of this sausage!

They also have lots of entertaining events around the park.

The Boysenberry Bedlam was my favorite!

With the wine tasting card you can taste some Boysenberry Wine at the Wilderness Dance Hall. My hubby took advantage of that since I can’t drink!

They also have Boysenberry Draft Beer and Boysenberry Cider at this location.

There is also the Tied Up in Knott’s Art Show –Wilderness Dance Hall, Old MacDonald’s Farm – Livery Stable, History of Boysenberry & Knott’s Berry Farm – Ghost Town Town Hall, Calico Park Fun, Music & Games – Calico Park, Camp Snoopy Activities & Special Photo Moments – Camp Snoopy Theatre, Old Time Melodrama – Birdcage Theatre, Chaparral- Fireman’s Barbeque Fiesta Dance Party with DJ Cruz- Fiesta Plaza Stage Boardwalk,  Barbeque Rockin’ Duo- Boardwalk Barbeque, and Snoopy’s Boysenberry Jamboree! – Calico Mine Stage!
