Hey All!

Life is filled with lots of happy times and lots of not so happy times. For example cleaning the bathroom is a not so happy time. Who likes to clean bathrooms?! I know I don’t. It’s like the most yuckiest place to clean for obvious reasons. Yes I said yuckiest! It’s always a task to do as I always dread having to do it. It has to be done because obviously it will only get more yucky and that’s not how I like to live. I’m a very cleanly person who likes to get these dirty jobs done quickly and efficiently. That is all that matters to me. I want it to be cleaned and done with as quickly as possible so I can go back to those happy things like donuts and pineapples. Who’s with me on that? Luckily Clorox.com has a great Tips section where you can get some amazing tips on how to clean up those yucky spots in your home a little quicker. I’ve been sharing a few of their tips with you over the past months. This is sadly my last round of tips that I’ll be sharing with you. This time I’m sharing tips for the bathroom Toilet and for the Shower Doors. I hope all the tips I’ve shared thus far have helped your cleaning go a little faster.

Here are their steps to a cleaning the Toilet:

  • Close the toilet seat cover when you flush. Germs can be propelled into the air when the toilet is flushed. For that reason, it’s good practice to close the seat or step away from the toilet after flushing.
  • Handle the handle. Forget worrying about the seat. The handle is where most of the germs live on the toilet exterior. An easy fix in your home is to wipe the handle daily with Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes.
  • You don’t have to get intimate with the toilet in order to clean it. With the Clorox® ToiletWand® System, you can get at all areas of the toilet from a distance and then refill the cleaning head for a fresh approach the next time around.
  • Kill 99.9% of common household germs in the toilet bowl water after each flush with Clorox® Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner.
  • There’s no such thing as a too-clean toilet. Clean and disinfect the toilet daily with a disinfecting cleaner like Clorox® Toilet Bowl Cleaner — with Bleach.
  • For hard water and toilet ring stains, use Clorox® Toilet Bowl Cleaner — Tough Stain Remover.

You can also use Bathroom Pump ‘N Clean multipurpose cleaner and these bathroom Scrub Singles to clean those toilets as well. They work all over the bathroom honestly. I love these as they are so quick and easy to use. One pump and some scrubbing power with the Scrub Singles does the trick. It leaves that toilet looking sparkly and new. I use gloves and my Clorox ToiletWand any time I clean the toilet so I can get those Scrub Singles in all those nooks in the toilet to make sure it’s clean.

We’re always cleaning our shower door as there is nothing worse that a foggy glass shower door. You don’t want soap scum to build up on your shower doors. It’s the worst! At least I think it is…

Here is their easy tips on how to clean the shower door:

  • Clorox® Glass Wipes can be used on glass shower doors for a quick and easy shine.
  • Wipe down bathtubs, shower doors, tile and floors with a product approved to kill mold. A daily dose of it will keep mildew (visible mold) growth in check. Use a solution of Clorox® Regular-Bleach to kill mold and remove mildew.*
  • To remove soap scum in the bathtub or shower, spray surfaces with Clorox® Disinfecting Bathroom Cleaner until wet. Wait 10 minutes, then rinse. No scrubbing required.
  • Grout got you down? The Clorox® Bleach Pen Gel is ideal for removing stubborn mold and mildew stains from tile and grout.
  • To clean glazed ceramic tile, spray the surface with Clorox® Disinfecting Bathroom Cleaner and let the product stand for several minutes before wiping. No need to scrub!
  • Make shower space. Don’t try to crowd everything on the ledge of the tub or shower stall. Instead, get a caddy to get things under control. Pick a caddy with enough slots and space for all your shower necessities but not so many that it begs for clutter. Beware, however, as these caddies can be a haven for mildew. Keep the wells dry and spray and wipe regularly with Clorox® Clean-Up® Cleaner + Bleach.
