Treating My Mom To A Delicious Roasted Sirloin!

Outback-Steakhouse

Hey All!

My mom came to visit last week and I was thrilled to see her. It’s been some time since I’ve seen my mom because she lives in NYC with most of my family. I wanted to make the visit special for her, even though I was feeling a little under the weather. I decided we needed to go out to eat dinner at one of my favorite restaurants Outback SteakhouseĀ®! She has never eaten there (believe it or not) and there was no way my mom was leaving California with out trying Outback. I did have some ulterior motives to want to go to Outback SteakhouseĀ®, I will admit. I wanted to try their all-new Hand-Carved Roasted Sirloin steaks. They are being offered at participating locations nationwide and luckily my local location was one of them.

These sirloins are special because in addition to Outbackā€™s signature grilling styles (seasoned and seared to lock in its natural juicy flavors), Outbackā€™s new Roasted Sirloin is then slow roasted for three hours for maximum tenderness and hand-carved to order. Doesn’t that sound amazing?!! It sure does to this steak loving lady! We hopped in the car over the weekend and off we went on our tasty steak adventure.

We started our meal with a blooming onion of course. We couldn’t go to Outback SteakhouseĀ® and not have one. My mother had to know the deliciousness that is a blooming onion. She loved it!

We then ordered out meals. My hubby had the Marsala Roasted Sirloin. This is tender slices of roasted sirloin topped with sautĆ©ed mushrooms and a savory mushroom Marsala sauce. It’s erved with creamy Parmesan rice and a broccoli garnish.

How tasty does that look folks?! Too good!

And my mom and I had the Classic Roasted Sirloin, which consists of: tender slices of roasted sirloin topped with a rich Cabernet sauce, served with garlic mashed potatoes and a broccoli garnish. This steak was amazing and I love their mashed potatoes with a passion. They have a garlic taste to them, which I can’t get enough of!

You need to run out and try it for yourself asap!

These new Roasted Sirloin start at just $10.99 (so you won’t break the bank taking the family to dinner) and they are all perfectly paired with bold new sides and savory sauces. I would have tried them all, but I was too full after eating just one of their delicious Roasted Sirloins. They also had the Bistro Roasted Sirloin, which is: tender slices of roasted sirloin topped with a creamy Dijon bistro sauce. It’s served with crispy diced potatoes and a broccoli garnish, in case you want to try something other than what we tried.

Outback’s Signature Steaks can either be seasoned and seared with a secret blend of 17 spices on the flattop grill or wood-fire grilled for a delicious natural flavor. Plus, for those looking for a forkless Roasted Sirloin option, Outback is introducing all new Steakhouse Quesadillas, stuffed with tender slow-roasted sirloin, Monterey Jack cheese, chipotle spread, cilantro and green onions, and served with sour cream. Yum!

I always love having dinner at Outback SteakhouseĀ® and it was all the more special to have the opportunity to take my mom with me to try something new. It was also amazing to treat my mom to her first time at one of our favorite restaurants.
