For all my Latino Followers, Do you have a small business? The entry period for the Annual Latino Small Business Series Awards presented by Verizon Wireless has officially started and will continue through September 28, 2012. Established entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and working professionals can nominate themselves or others for prizes totaling $15,000, including five Motorola smartphones plus free voice and data service on the company’s 4G LTE network for one year.

According to the Latino Business Chamber of Greater Los Angeles over 500,000 Latino businesses now operate in Southern California, and are growing at a rate of 35% greater than the nation at large. To celebrate their achievements Verizon Wireless will honor a Latino professional as the Verizon Latino Entrepreneur of the Year. This year’s winner will receive prizes totaling $15,000, including five Motorola smartphones plus free voice and data service on the company’s 4G LTE network for one year.  The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network is the fastest 4G network in America and the largest 4G LTE network, covering two thirds of the country.

Verizon Wireless will announce the winner on November 1, 2012 at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach.
