Hey All!

Did you catch the Oscars! Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy attended the 84th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony to celebrate Hollywood’s most talented performers (and the Oscar-winning hit song ‘Man or Muppet’)! They were heating up the red carpet in Brooks Brothers (Kermie wore), Zac Posen, Christian Louboutin and Fred Leighton (Miss Piggy wore), this “It” couple made quite the scene. We were thrilled they were there! And did you see Miss Piggy’s Bling!

Here is some info about her jewels: She wore a 1940’s amethyst and diamond ring in gold (70.0 carats)–lavender is her signature color after all 1950’s diamond and platinum swirl necklace (55 carats) with matching swirl bracelet (40 carats)! And Celebrity hairstylist Kim Kimble (Beyonce, Shakira, Kerry Washington) put the finishing touches on Miss Piggy by adding a diamond and platinum headband (approx. 10 carats) and 1940’s clip in the back.

And to celebrate that the Muppets were about to win an Oscar which they did for “Man of Muppet” I made some Muppet Kermit Cupcakes!

I thought they came out really well and Kermit would be proud of these cupcakes!

I also printed out a bunch of Muppet decorations to celebrate like the hand puppets above and this Muppets road trip car.

It was all about the Muppets for us at our Oscar Party!

We so wished they would have performed but at least they won the best song Oscar!
