We’re Loving The Diamond Celebration & Halloween Time At Disneyland!

Hey All!

One a recent Disney Home Entertainment press trip, I spent the day at our magical home away from home, the Disneyland Resort. We were there to interview some of the talent from the Disney Picture Tomorrowland and to once again celebrate the Disneyland Diamond Celebration. It was very interesting to see the Halloween time decor mixed with the Diamond Celebration decor all over the park. It’s one colorful and fabulous mashup! This is the first time the park has been decorated this way.  If you’re in the Los Angeles, CA area, you definitely want to check out the Disneyland Resort during this amazing celebration and holiday time.

The one thing that we couldn’t wait to see again was Sleeping Beauty’s Castle! During the Diamond Celebration, it’s glistening like never before as it’s covered with dazzling diamonds.

It’s such a magical thing to see up close. This picture doesn’t do it justice!

We then proceeded to check out some amazing Disney History in the Disney Gallery.

It was great to see so much history that helped create the wonderful dream Walt Disney had for this wonderful family theme park.

We had a Diamond Celebration special lunch complete with a Diamond decorated sandwich!

Mickey and Minnie came to say hi during the lunch and they were dressed in their special Diamond Celebration outfits. These outfits only come out for special occasions.

You won’t find this Diamond Celebration Mickey or Minnie wandering around the Disneyland Resort. You won’t find this Diamond Celebration Goofy either. These amazing blingged out Disney characters are only brought out for special occasions.

After lunch we toured the park and took in all the Halloween Time decor and festivities.

The Haunted Mansion Holiday is back!

Jack Skellington is back to scare up some fun with the New Hat Box Ghost at The Haunted Mansion ride.

It’s always a must see when the holidays roll into the Disneyland Resort!

I just love how the ride is decorated on the inside and out!

For the Diamond celebration be sure to check out the Diamond Celebration band as they are fantastic.

You also have to see the Paint the Night Parade. The Paint the Night is truly spectacular!

The spectacular light filled floats fill the night sky with color. It truly does bring back memories of the “Main Street Electrical Parade.”

As you can see from the pictures, This night parade features character favorites from Disney and Pixar films.

The parade is complete with over 1.5 million LED lights!

This truck is the highlight of the parade as it’s the largest character in the parade with the most amazing lights!

You can see some of the parade below and more videos of the parade on my YouTube channel.

You’ll definitely want to stay put after the parade to check out the fantastic Disneyland Forever fire works show!

The Disneyland Forever fireworks show is by far the best fireworks spectacular I’ve ever seen!

Tinkerbell flies across the sky and so does Nemo of “Finding Nemo”. Each segment of the show is themed with a different Disney character story. Check out some of the fireworks in the video below and see more videos of it on my YouTube channel.

And if that’s not enough, you should definitely check out the spectacular World of Color – Celebrate!

The World of Color – Celebrate! show is hosted by the one and only Neil Patrick Harris. It too is so much fun to see.

You’ll also find some of the amazing Diamond Celebration themed treats and merchandise at the park.

There are necklaces, paper weights, mugs, and photo holders that are all Diamond Celebration themed. My most favorite item that I picked up is this Diamond Celebration ring. It’s beyond gorgeous and I wore it all around the park during this fun day.

That’s all mixed with the Halloween Merchandise and treats.

There is so much to see and do at the Disneyland Resort for the Diamond Celebration and for Halloween. You definitely need to get there to experience it for yourself!
