Hey All!
Many of you know that I actually went to film school at NYU, so making movies and just simply going to the movies is a passion of mine. I love to still make our own home movies or even recreate certain scenes from our movies that we love. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve recreated E.T. in our living room. I was thrilled to have discovered Homemade Movies as they serve up some extremely creative remakes of your favorite trailers and movie scenes. All videos are exact shot-for-shot remakes created at home without any visual effects. It’s “sweded” movie magic from acclaimed director Dustin McLean!
Check out this fun video below that was recently done.
Movies like the Fast and the Furious popularized underground racing, drifting, and Paul Walker’s hair. And now Homemade Movies has included all this and more in their ambitious recreation of the final race between Dominic (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) from the original film.
How cool is that? This is what happen’s when adults play with Matchbox cars, toy trains, and a miniature set that makes even Mr. Rogers jealous. You’re never too old to play I always say. Keeping your imagination going keeps you young! You’ll be surprised at how much enjoyment you can get by simply playing with your old toys. This video to me shows this in a perfect way.
These home made movies are fun and unique! I can’t wait to see more.
