I attended a media event for the Holidays for Disneyland Resort. All opinions are my own.
Hey All!
I recently had the opportunity to attend the world premiere of World of Color “Winter Dreams” and get a behind the scenes look at how the fountains work. I was spectacular to get to control the fountains. You can see me controlling the fountains of this incredible new holiday show below.
We also got to tour the control room and learned that there are 3 hidden rooms underneath the fountains where technicians can switch out the fountains if one should go down. Both computers and humans control each World of Color show.
I literally almost cried throughout the full 30 minute show as it was such a beautiful presentation. My family was in awe of every second of the show.
I personally loved that Olaf from Disney’s Frozen was the host of the show and it showcased Queen Elsa’s amazing ballad Let It Go. There was also a virtual chorus that included people singing from around the country who submitted their video and voices to be a part of this spectacular show.
Here is a preview of the show below.
I can assure you seeing the Mickey ears glow in sync with the show is a site to see. It’s truly a magical experience. Disney Pixar also created a special Toy Story Segment in the show that is beyond adorable.
If you’re heading out to Disneyland and California Adventure be sure to catch this New Holiday Show Staple!
