I love having a variety of drinks for all our adult guests during the holidays. I’m the hostess with the mostess and I need to up our holiday drink game each year. This is one my family and friends are surely going to enjoy. If you try it for your holiday parties, I’m sure it will be a hit with your guests as well. Here is how to make it!

  • 2 tbsps Salted Caramel Sauce
  • 5 oz. Eggnog
  • 3-4 Marshmallows

Banana Foster’s Ingredients:

  • 1 Banana, sliced
  • Pinch Sea Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter for bananas and 2 tbsps to finish
  • 2 tbsps Heavy Cream
  • 2 tbsps Granulated Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Light Brown Sugar

Using a small skillet over med-high heat melt butter. When the butter is just melted, slice in bananas, make sure the banana slices are laying flat. Allow banana slices to brown on one side, then flip them over using a fork. Once both sides of the bananas are browned, remove them to a small plate.

Into the skillet add the two (2) remaining tablespoons of unsalted butter, white sugar, brown sugar, pure vanilla extract. Stir using the tines of a fork until the mixture is smooth.

Add heavy cream, add a pinch of salt and reduce to low stirring until of the ingredients are well incorporated.
Continue to stir until the mixture is smooth and a nice pale brown. Remove from heat.

Then Build your Banana Foster’s Egg Nog. Into a 7 oz. glass pour 5 oz of egg nog, add 1 oz of salted caramel sauce and stir thoroughly.
Top with marshmallows with the flat ends facing up.

Turn an oven on high broil, place the cups onto a cookie sheet and put them into the oven. It will only take about 20 – 30 seconds for the marshmallows to become toasted. Remove cups from the oven. Top each marshmallow with a slice of caramelized banana.
Drizzle with salted caramel sauce. Serve and enjoy!

It’s the perfect drink for all those holiday parties!
