Hey All!
As the fun summer months approach we always kick it off with a fun Memorial Day BBQ and family get together by our pool in our apartment complex.
It’s a great pool (as you can see above) and we love to sit out there eating our hotdogs and hamburgers that we BBQ each year. We also love to celebrate Memorial Day as my fiancĆ© is an actual veteran who served in the army. This day has special meaning for us as were always thankful he is with us.
The one staple at our BBQ’s has always been Kings Hawaiian bread and rolls. We have always used their bread as our rolls for our hamburgers and hotdogs. We would make their sandwich buns our hamburger buns and their sliced bread our hot dogs buns. This was of course before they came out with these fabulous hamburger and hotdog buns.
I can’t tell you how thrilled my family was to see these come home when they came out and I can’t tell you how thrilled they were to see me get them for our BBQ. I also picked up some hotdogs for our BBQ.
I seriously had to forbid everyone from eating the Kings Hawaiian Buns before the BBQ. Trust me this is a very difficult thing to ask of my family!
You can imagine how thrilled they were when Memorial Day finally came on Monday and we got to sink our teeth into these delicious buns and hotdogs.
Doesn’t that look yummy? I personally could eat the bun alone and be happy. Our teenager could too. Frankly my entire family can’t get enough of this bread and I’m honestly not just saying that. You’ve seen me rave about it on my site before and I just had to share one more time about what an amazing addition it is to our Memorial Day BBQ.
