Hey All!
I don’t know about you, but I’m so excited for Halloween to arrive! It’s my favorite holiday and I can’t wait to plan our “Adult Only ” Halloween Party. Yes folks, it’s the one time a year where I make it a rule to host a fiesta that only the adults can enjoy. No kids allowed! I love to make some amazing Halloween themed foods and cocktails. I also love to have some awesome wine for my guests to sip on. Luckily, I’ve already found some of the most AMAZING wine for this years Halloween Party. I have to tell you about it since it’s so perfectly themed and it’s delish! I found it as I recently watched the Casillero del Diablo “The Legend of Don Melchor de Concha y Toro” video on the Casillero del Diablo Wines website. You can see the video below if you want to check it out too!
I learned about the brand and how they are “The Official Wine of Halloween™”! What! How did I not know this? Crazy, I know! Obviously with a spooky name like Casillero del Diablo, it would be the perfect Halloween Wine! I immediately ran out and bought some as I didn’t want it to sell out before I got some for our Halloween Party. We prefer red wines, so it was a win win for me. The taste is fanatic and the quality of the wine is exceptional. You can certainly serve and enjoy this glass of wine as is for your Halloween Party. The bottle has a little Devil symbol on it and it has such a dark and spooky feel to it! You can see how it almost looks black in the picture below. It truly is the perfect Halloween party wine.
If you want to take it up a notch, you can serve the wine in some fun Halloween themed glasses and make it into a wine spritzer.
How fun are these glasses? They are the perfect way to serve this spooky wine.
When the bottom of the glass is revealed, your Halloween party guests will surely be in for a scare. I decided I’m going to make Zombie Themed Casillero del Diablo Red Wine Spritzers for our Halloween Party this year.
To Make Zombie Themed Casillero del Diablo Red Wine Spritzer you’ll need:
- Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvingnon Chilled
- Sparkling Water or Seltzer Water Chilled
- Ice
- Zombie Hands for embellishment
- Halloween Themed Straws
You simply mix half a bottle of Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvingnon with chilled Sparkling Water or Seltzer Water to make the cocktail. You place some ice into your Halloween themed glasses and pour your spritzer into them.
You then add your zombie hands and a straw to the drink. This makes it almost look like a Zombie hand is coming out of a pool of blood.
Sorry if that is that too graphic of an image for everyone! It’s Halloween folks! It’s supposed to be scary! That’s just what it reminds me of, as I’ve seen that so many times in Zombie movies. I think it’s awesome that the wine spritzer totally captures that bloody and spooky feel!
Who wouldn’t love a Zombie themed drink for Halloween? I know I would! Making your drinks spooky and festive for your guests is the perfect way to spice up any “Adult Only” Halloween Party! I know these are surely going to be a hit when we serve them at our party this year!
When the Adult fun begins on Halloween, these are the perfect “treat” for adults after taking the kids trick-or-treating. Whether you’re going to just enjoy a glass of “Diablo” wine or these Zombie Themed Casillero del Diablo Red Wine Spritzers, this wine is truly the perfect wine for Halloween! It is the official wine of Halloween for a reason folks. It truly lives up to it’s title! Remember to always be responsible when you are drinking and DO NOT Drink and Drive! Also remember you have to be 21 and older to drink!
