Wakadoo! Our Bluey 7th Birthday Party!
Hey All!
I’m so thrilled to finally share all the details from our son’s 7th Bluey Birthday Party event that we threw a few weeks ago. We had a big party since he honestly hasn’t had a really big birthday party since he was 1 years old and had his Daniel Tiger Party! This amazing event couldn’t have been pulled off with out our incredible partners from Anagram Balloons, Sun-Staches® and our amazing venue My Ranch and party vendors. These brands were all kind enough to donate the balloons and party favors for our guests to enjoy! I’ll have a full vendor and product link list at the end of this post, so stick around to the end! This one is going to be a long one folks!
I worked hard to make sure this was everything my son and his friends wanted. We’re an immunocompromised family and so are all of his friends, so we did everything we could to make sure we kept everyone safe. We also did everything we could to make them have the best time ever at this party. The photos were taken by are awesome photographer @kimberlyrgmoments! She did a great job!
You were welcomed with a cute grannies sign and balloons as soon as you arrived at the party.
The party was decorated with amazing latex and Bluey themed balloons from Anagram Balloons. They make the best balloons and we use them for all of our Birthday parties. They also make all the Bluey themed balloons.
My new bestie Tereza from @balloons.and.co created all these amazing garlands and backdrops.
How cute are these balloons and backdropss and shelf arch? I’m obsessed with how it came out!
The Bluey house cut out was perfection and so was the cute little Bingo.
The whole main balloon garland and backdrop was so perfectly done. It had everything we wanted and it was in all the colors we wanted.
It had an adopt a Floppy wall for the kids to take home their own floppy.
The kids could not wait to get their hands on these. We didn’t have a ton of kids coming to the party, so we filled in the gaps between the bunnies with some party hats.
We used table signs to label what each table was and to give instructions for each table.
We even had adoption certificates for the kids to fill out when they picked their floppy.
We had a take a photo with Bob Bilby cart, where we set up a Bob Bilby puppet for kids to take photos with an Instamax Camera.
The kids thought it was so fun and it was such a fun photo opportunity.
The kids took their photos and then put them in an album for my son, so he can have a whole photo album of memories at the end of the party.
And of course we had an Anagram Blue Balloon hanging off the cart as well.
The Bluey Cutouts were also decorating the entire venue. They were made by @vahagn_cnc_design and they came out amazing!
You can find the Bluey and her friends cut outs and balloons all over the party!
We decorated every where we could including the playground at the venue!
How cute ate these Anagram Bluey Orbz XL Balloons!
All the balloons and decorations were perfectly placed around the party.
There wasn’t a place you could turn with out seeing a Bluey character or balloon. That’s exactly how I wanted it.
My favorites were the Pom Pom…
And the Snickers the hot dog cut out. We had an art corner where the kids can paint Bluey canvases with Bluey water color paints.
It was such a cut set up and the chairs were kid sized.
The table had the cutest Bluey Balloon decorations as well.
How cute are these table balloons?!!!
We had a kids coloring table with a giant coloring sheet for the kids to color in for my son. It was a like a big birthday poster when it was done.
We had a gift table that was of course decorated with Bluey Balloons.
We had every kind of Bluey Balloon that you can think of.
We also had a favor table and a Wackadoo table filled with games the kids could play.
The favor table had the party favor gift bags…
Amazing Bluey Sunstaches and Sunglasses…
Some of Rita’s Beans…
Wrapped up cupcakes for the kids to take their cupcakes home with them…
I loved that that the little gnome husband was guarding the cupcakes.
We also had Bluey themed drinks and waters.
These Good 2 Grow Bluey drinks were so perfect for the party!
We had the labels custom made for the Water Bottles, so everything was Bluey themed even the water.
Next to the tables we had our Bluey AirWalkers…
And Bluey Air Loonz Balloons. These balloons are huge, but so incredibly cute!
On the Wackdoo table, we had so many fun Bluey themed games for the kids to play. And yes I know we spelled Wackadoo wrong on the banner. We didn’t realize it was wrong until we got there and just went with it. It’s still cute!
On the Wackadoo table we had a sign letting the kids know they could find Long Dogs around the party hidden, just like they hide them on the show!
We had one hidden right on the table on a plush Bluey.
We had granny glasses…
Feather wands…
Magic asparagus, which was also just a big bubble wand…
We had the instructions for how to play the games as well.
We had Keepy uppy balloons…
Sticky Geckos…
And of course Pass The Parcel.
We had a bounce house that was of course decorated with a beautiful Balloon garland.
They filled the bounce house with Keepy Uppy red Balloons and the kids went wild inside with the balloons!
In front was a Mercedes Jeep ride on car that my son drove around in. It was his special car that only he could drive at the party.
Inside the jeep was a Muffin doll, since she has a similar car in the cartoon.
The garland was absolutely perfect on the bounce house!
We can’t have a party with out bubbles, but of course we had Bluey Bubble machines.
And last but not least they had a Petting Zoo that the kids loved…
And we made what we called Rita’s Garage. It was a whole space filled with ride on cars that the kids could drive and not crash around the party.
It was such a cute set up!
The kids ride on cars and the little track and gas station set up were from @kidscarclubla!
They did an incredible job and were so great with the kids. There was an instructor who showed the kids how to drive them and watched over each kid as they drove.
The kids were obsessed with this gas pump!
My son had the time of his life driving these cars!
He literally wanted to take them home.
The kids all had the time of their lives and I couldn’t be happier that it turned out so incredible.
Seeing my son say it was a the best day of his life and seeing his friends and all our guests beyond happy made all the hard work worth it!
