My Day At Dreamworks Animation To Celebrate The Croods & #Giveaway ! #TheCroodsDVD

Hey All!

In honor of the The Croods becoming available on Blu-ray and DVD Oct. 1st, I was invited to visit the amazing DreamWorks Animation Campus in Glendale, CA. It was such a fun event for this amazing movie. Yes your favorite character from the film Belt was there.

The campus is beautiful and I’m always excited to attend whenever I visit.

We started the day with some brief remarks on the launch of the Blu-ray/DVD with introductions by the writer/directors of The Croods Chris Sanders & Kirk DeMicco.  It was a 3D Clip Presentation.

I made sure my little Belt character doll that I was given was in attendance.

We then took a Croodaceous Creatures Illustration Master Class with Sean Sexton.

We learned to draw Belt and a few characters from the film!

I don’t think I did too bad don’t you?

We then took a Campus Tour which was amazing! These fish in all the fountains and ponds around the campus were so beautiful and they were so friendly to people. The second you would come next to the water they would come next to you and pop out of the water.

We then had an amazing Lunch by the Lakeside Lagoon. The food was delicious! After food was  photos with Belt!

He was so adorable! He even gave me a little smooch. After my fun with belt I had roundtables with Chris Sanders & Kirk DeMicco.

We discussed the film and how it came to be. Here is what they had to say.

“It took years to tell this story and have this film made”

“Epp was always a girl. She was the most interesting character and we kept coming back to wanting to tell her story.”

“We wanted to have a family member in the family that everyone can relate to having in their family, that’s how we came up with the size of the family.”

Chris Sanders “My favorite character is Epp and the Tiger!”

After our round tables we had an amazing time Eep’s Shoe Clinic with Line Andersen thanks to UGG’s shoes! We got to design and dress up our very own UGG’s!

We got to take home our UGG’s and I LOVE THEM! I have always loved UGG’s so I was super excited to design my own UGG’s.

It was an amazing day to celebrate the upcoming release of the family animated film The Croods coming to Blu-ray and DVD Oct. 1!

Fox was kind enough to also give me these Activity Sheet – Picture Frames and Activity Sheet – Door Hangers to give to you. You can print these out below.
