Hey All!

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and this year me and my hubby are celebrating by having a nice romantic dinner at home. It’s nice to just stay home and relax for the night. We get to do something special for each other at home, which I find all the more easier and romantic. When you have kids, going out can be a challenge. Staying home on Valentine’s Day allows you to cook a delicious meal you’ll both enjoy and have a romantic evening relaxing. Those are just some of the benefits of staying at home for a Valentine’s Day Date Night. This year I’m making the Best Rosa Sauce Recipe with Farfalle Pasta, Shrimp, and Garlic Bread for our Valentine’s Day dinner. If you’re looking for a quick and easy delicious meal to make for your own special someone, I highly recommend this recipe! If it doesn’t sound like this recipe is for you, simply get two Bertolli® Sauces and make an easy, delicious and savory dinner recipe. I used the Bertolli® Traditional Marinara with Italian Herbs and Fresh Garlic and Bertolli® Alfredo With Aged Parmesan Cheese Sauce to make my Rosa Sauce.

I always like to try out my new recipes before I make them for our special occasions. Thankfully, the amazing folks at Bertolli® were kind enough to send us this amazing box of sauces and a few cute items to celebrate our Valentine’s Day Date Night with.

I actually love and personally only use Bertolli sauces. Many sauces are made the Italian way, but only Bertolli Sauces are made the Tuscan Way! They use a few simple ingredients that are cooked lightly with olive oil creating layers of flavor. Don’t just reach for a jar of Italian, reach for a jar of Tuscan and taste the delicious difference. The Tuscan Way makes Bertolli sauces taste uniquely delicious. And only Bertolli is made the Tuscan Way.

My husband is half Italian, so he can really taste the difference. I’m always thinking about what recipe’s he’d love to eat and I know this one will be very special for him to enjoy on Valentine’s Day. I’m loving this recipe and I know my husband is going to love it too!

If you’d like to give it a try, here is how to make it:

First you bring water in a pot to a boil and boil your pasta. Cook your pasta according to your pasta boxes directions. Drain the pasta and set it aside in a bowl.

Next you make your shrimp. You sprinkle the Oregano, Basil, and Salt onto the shrimp and toss them. You toss the shrimps in the seasoning, so they are all coated with the seasoning. Next you sauté the shrimp in olive oil in a skillet. Cook until shrimp has shrunken down and is shrimp is no longer translucent.

When your shrimp is done, pour the shrimp into the bowl with the pasta and pour both pasta sauces into the bowl. Toss them all together until the sauce is combined and all the shrimp and pasta is coated.

You want every bite to have a lot of this tasty Rosa Sauce on it!

Bake up your garlic bread and cut some slices for each plate.

Sprinkle some parmesan cheese on the top of the pasta and add a basil leaf for garnish.

Make sure you have some cute Valentine’s Day Coasters, Napkins…

And cute decorations for your table to complete the mood of your Valentine’s Day Date Night Dinner.

Serve it to your special someone and enjoy! It’s so simple and easy to make. If you’re like me, you want to spend most of your Valentine’s Day Date with your significant other. You don’t want to spend it slaving away in a kitchen all night!

Give this recipe a try this Valentine’s Day and get yourself some Bertolli® Traditional Marinara with Italian Herbs and Fresh Garlic and Bertolli® Alfredo With Aged Parmesan Cheese to make it! Visit the Bertolli® Website and enter your ZIP Code to find Where to Buy this sauce!
