Hey All!

Que causa estrés en tu vida? For my English readers that translates to “What causes stress in your life?” Being extremely busy is my biggest stress factor. I know most of us bloggers with families wonder how we can find more time in the day to get everything done. I used to find myself very stressed out often as I am always so busy! I would rarely have time to relax as I’m either working, traveling, doing something with the family, or doing something for the blog. I realized I needed to make time for myself to lessen my stress as stress is not healthy for you. It can make you sick and even worse, it can also make you sweat…A LOT! Yuck! I realized I needed to relax when I would find myself sweating all the time from stress!

Here are some tips I did for myself that lessened my stress levels and wanted to share with you:

1. Take 1 hour of your day to pamper yourself.

Whether it’s giving yourself a manicure, pedicure, or facial for an hour, do it! Even if pampering yourself means just taking a nap to relax for an hour. Do it! You need at least one hour a day for yourself. You will be amazed at how much an hour of me time can do to de-stress you.

2. Take time to savor your meal.

I noticed I would eat super quickly in order to try and get more time in my day. I found doing this made me have heart burn and feel bad, which would then make me sweat because I was stressed. I learned to actually enjoy my food when I’m eating and it made me less stressed.

3. Make sure you’re doing something you love. If you hate what you’re doing it will just stress you out further.

4. Take some time to get organized.

Get yourself a planner (either digital or paper) and plan everything from meals to ME time so you don’t feel like you’re running around. This is a huge de-stresser! The more organized you are the less stressed you will be!

And last but not least.

5. Don’t let a stressful day at work, home, or school stress out your entire day. I’ve learned you have to breath and let the stressful situation go quickly and move on. The faster you move on the less stressed out you’ll be!

Did you know that every day stressors—working, cooking, cleaning and never-ending to-do lists—can lead to excessive sweating, and that sweating caused by stress smells worse than regular sweat? It comes from a different gland – causing more bacteria and odor! You don’t want people to see your sweaty and smelling arm pits in a fabulous outfit you just bought because you are so stressed out!
