Hey All!
Today on this Donut and Confetti Monday are my easy Valentine’s Day Pink Champagne Baked Donuts. I decided to make some fun Donuts for Valentine’s Day since I love donuts and it is the day of love. Why not have a treat you love on the day of love.
These adorable donuts would be the perfect Valentine’s Day breakfast treat or even a dessert.
You can pair them with some milk and sprinkles and some heart straws…
Or you can enjoy them all on their own.
They’re super easy to make and you probably have most of the items to make them already in your kitchen cabinets.
To Make the Donuts you’ll need:
- A Mixer
- Heart Cake Pan
- A Can of Pink Champagne
- FunFetti Cake Mix
- Vanilla Extract
- Butter or Non-Stick Baking Spray
- Pink Food Coloring
- Eggs
- Milk
- Vegetable Oil
- Water
- Heart Sprinkles
To Make the Glaze You’ll need:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 Tablespoons milk
- Pink Food Coloring
In a mixer open the FunFetti Cake Mix and follow the directions on the box to make the batter. Mine included two eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Once batter is mixed and smooth add 1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract and 3/4 of a cup of Pink Champagne. You then add 1 Tablespoon of milk to get the donuts nice and fluffy. You also add some heart sprinkles into the batter and at least 4 drops of pink food coloring into the batter. Stir until batter is a light pink.
Butter or spray the heart cake pan with the non-stick spray.
Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes. Let Donuts cool for about 10-15 minutes. Then proceed to make your glaze.
Mix together the powdered sugar, 3 Tablespoons milk, and Pink Food Coloring until it’s a semi thick mixture. Add more milk to the mix if you’d like the glaze to have a thinner consistency.
If you don’t have time to make a glaze you could also get some pink frosting and put it in the microwave for about 10 seconds and that would work just as well for a glaze for the donuts.
Dunk each donut into the glaze and sprinkle with the heart sprinkles. Let them air dry for 5 minutes so the glaze hardens on the donut. That’s it! You’re done!
They are an easy and super cute Valentine’s Day Treat.
You can try to eat just one, but it may be hard.
