First you get your white pumpkins at Target. They were having a buy two get one free sale the other day and I surely took advantage of it! I digress…

You first cut the stem off the large pumpkin with your scissors.

You then cut white strips from the white craft foam to create the boarder design on his collar. You then glue the white strips onto the blue craft foam to create his collar. Sorry I didn’t take any step-by-step photos.

Take a piece of red fabric and cute the ends into a triangle. Tie the fabric into a knot with two long ends. Glue the red fabric to the center of the large pumpkin.

Drape the blue collar foam piece over the large pumpkin and red fabric bow piece. Glue it to the pumpkin with your hot glue gun.

Glue the medium pumpkin to the top of the blue foam collar and large pumpkin in the center.

Print out the Stay Puft face onto the printable vinyl. Cut out the face and stick it onto the medium pumpkin.

Cut a 3 in thick piece of blue craft foam and twist it into a circle. Glue the ends of the piece together to create a circle. Cut out your “STAY PUFT” letters from the printable vinyl. I used a cricut cutting machine to cut my letters.

I stuck the letters onto the blue circle piece. Cut a piece of white fabric that is large enough to drape over the small circle cardboard cakeboard.

Place some foam over the cakeboard, wrap the white fabric around it, and tie off the end of the fabric on the bottom. You’re creating the puffy part of his hat. You this piece to the blue foam circle piece to create his hat.

Cut another piece of small red fabric to create a tassel for his hat. Cut a blue circle from the blue craft foam. Glue both to the top of the hat to complete the hat.

Glue the hat to the side of the pumpkin to hide the stem and that’s it, you’re done!

How fun is this pumpking folks? Makes you want to sing “I aint afraid of no ghosts”! So fun for Halloween!

I hope you love this cute Halloween pumpkin DIY idea as much as I do!
