Hey All!
There are a few new wonderful happenings at the Disneyland Resort and we were lucky enough to attend a special media day at the park to check them out. At the California Adventures Park, Frozen Live stage show at the Hyperion is open and their new attraction, Soarin’ Around the World is now open as well. We could not wait to see the Frozen show, as we’ve heard how spectacular it is. We’re annual pass holders, so we’re always excited when new attractions open at Disneyland. It’s always a magical experience.
We first checked out Soarin’ Around the World. It was so much fun to ride! It elevates you 40 feet off the ground and into an immersive experience where you feel like you’re soaring through the skies. You watch an 80-foot projection screen dome that fills your entire field of vision which is what gives you the feeling that you are taking flight. You get to see jaw-dropping natural and man-made landmarks like the Great Wall of China, Sydney Harbor in Australia, and the Matterhorn in Switzerland. As you fly through these spectacular sites, your senses are also engaged with the smells and sounds of the world you’re flying through.
That’s a must ride if you come to the Disneyland Resort!
Next we got fast pass tickets to Frozen- Live at the Hyperion! It’s an all-new theatrical interpretation of the film that adapts the story of Anna and Elsa. All of your favorite characters from Frozen come to life in a production that is fit for the Broadway stage.
We could not wait to see it and I honestly can’t wait to see it again!
It has an amazing cast who put on incredible numbers, larger-than-life set designs, incredible costumes and stunning visual effects! I was so engrossed in the show, I didn’t even take pictures. I was so entertained, I couldn’t look away!
Here is a video I found from Disneyland to give you a little taste of what the show is like.
We were also lucky enough to attend a fun little media party where we got to make shaved ice Olaf snowmen. It was so cute and the perfect treat to celebrate seeing Frozen Live with!
If you haven’t yet had a chance to get to the park to see Frozen Live, you need to get there ASAP!
Also you definitely want to get to the Disneyland Resort before September 5th, as that’s when the Diamond Celebration ends.
All the magic of the diamond-encrusted Sleeping Beauty Castle, the all-new “Paint the Night” parade, the “Disneyland Forever” fireworks and “World of Color – Celebrate!” as well as special food and merchandise will all be gone after that date!
You don’t want to miss out on this amazing celebration. It’s been such a spectacular addition to the parks and I will be so sad to see it go.
If you’re in the Los Angeles area through September 5, 2016, run out to the Disneyland Resort to experience all the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration has to offer before it’s all over! Also the holidays are coming up soon! Halloween and Christmas times are my favorite times of year at the park! You don’t want to miss that either!

Thanks so much to the Disneyland Resort for having us at this amazing media event!
