Easy DIY Holiday Party Decorations!

Office Depot sponsored this post, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Hey All!

The holidays are here and I don’t know about you, but I’m the “Hostess with the Mostess” this time of year. Whether I’m hosting an ugly Christmas sweater party for friends, a White Elephant party for my team, or a cocktail party or family dinner on Christmas day, every holiday party needs some special decorations to make each party memorable and festive. Thankfully, you can easily DIY some holiday party decorations with amazing products and printing services from Office Depot using their Workonomy™ Print and Copy Services.

I had our amazing designer and bestie Allison Romero bring to life this super cute printable candy Christmas village table centerpiece I thought up. She perfectly captured our vision for our printable Christmas Village!

I also made these super cute holly placemats and decorations with Office Depot card stock and tape that I put on my table and wall.

You can easily make this adorable tablescape with the help of Office Depot’s Workonomy™ Print and Copy services. They produce high-quality custom printing with a quick turnaround at a great price. They can even deliver everything, from custom stationery to business cards, to engraved signs and cards.

I love that custom printing can be ordered online, in-store, or you can buy online, and pick up in-store. If you’re in a rush, they have same day printing and pickup options that are available on many items.

Here are some other products/services available with Office Depot Print & Copy Services:

  • Custom photo books, creative prints, home décor, photo ornaments, and more.
  • Custom printables, including menus, placemats, and themed signs.
  • Holiday photo cards and last-minute gifts
  • Personalized calendars and planners

I digress… Back to my DIY party decorations! Here is how to make these.

To make the holly wall and table decorations you simply cut out a circle about 4 inches wide from the red card stock. You then cut out two holly leaf shapes from the green cardstock that are about 6 inches long. You tape the leaves to the red circle piece with some invisible tape on the back. Stick them to the wall with your tape and you’re done.

For the holly place mats, cut out a circle from the red cardstock that is almost 8 inches wide. You’ll also cut two holly leaves that are almost 9 inches long. Stick the holly leaves to the back of the big red circle with some tape and place them on your table. You’ll place your plates on top of the red circle of the holly.

You can also place some of the small holly decorations that you hung on the wall on the table too! I placed one of these at each end of my table.

To make the Christmas Village centerpiece, simply have this printed at Office Depot on bright white card stock. I had them use the 65lb card stock to print mine.

Cut out each house along the lines and fold along the lines as well. The printable is pretty self-explanatory.

For the houses with the little chimneys, you’ll need to assemble both the house, and the chimney, and then glue or tape the chimney onto the house. It’s really easy to do, I promise!

There are little houses with no chimneys and a little church with bell tower.

There are also some festive little Llama accents to place around the houses. In case you can’t tell by the decorations on my tree, It’s a Fa La Llama Christmas theme this year at casa Brite & Bubbly!

Just cut out the little llamas and then cut along that center lines on the bottom pieces and slide them together. Make a little cross stand like this in order for them to stand.

You can easily make this a little DIY activity to do with your whole family. Each person in your household can cut out a little house and help you assemble your little Christmas Village.

You can also host a holiday craft party where everyone can cut out and decorate their own Christmas Villages. You can always add some glitter or stickers to your houses to make them your own.

I love our little candy Christmas Village and I know my upcoming holiday party guests are going to love it just as much as I do!

I hope you love these fun and easy DIY holiday party decorations too! I can’t wait to see them at your own holiday parties!

This is so beautiful! I could only wish I had that much talent for DIY crafts! I love the idea of a Christmas village decoration. Maybe in a few years I will do that, when my grandson is old enough to know that Christmas decorations are not toys. 🙂
