So when you have a baby or small kids in your home you want to have a spy cam as I like to call them aka a baby monitor. I still use a baby monitor to spy on the kids to make sure their OK when I’m not around in the room or away. And I was so thankful to get the opportunity to get to try and keep one of the best baby monitors out today! The iBaby monitor is the best baby monitor ever and you want to know why? Because it connects to your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch and if you’re not a mac person that’s OK because it is also PC compatible.
That’s right folks the iBaby monitor allows you to watch your kids playing in the other room or your sleeping baby’s room right from your iPad, iPhone, or iTouch! You can even watch them when the baby sitter is taking care of them so you can make sure the babysitter isn’t a nutjob with your kids. Pardon my french! You can kind of make it like your spy cam since it connects to you on your Iphone! It also allows multiple people to watch the iBaby signal at the same time you’re watching it. It works with up to four devices simultaneously!
I mean this monitor is like the creme de la creme of baby monitors I kid you not. So how is this possible you ask? Well…it works that after you set it up with the cd it will connect who ever you programs iphone, ipad, ipod touch, or whatever one you have and when you swipe your fingers like lets say to the right the camera actually moves in that direction so you can see what’s going on in that side of the room. You swipe it left, up, down, the camera moves where ever your touch screen tells it to move when you move your finger on your iphone. It’s beyond cool and it does all this by just being on WiFi folks! It’s super simple to use and works amazing. The feed that you get on your phone is ridiculously clear as well! The audio sounds amazing too! When that kid starts crying it will sound like he or she is in the room with you I tell ya. And yes it has night vision so you can see the baby while he’s sleeping at night and it even lets you snap photos with the monitor! I know! I can’t tell you how cool this thing is!
You can find the iBaby monitor at Bestbuy for $199.99 and when you get it you will get the directions of course, the monitor, an Ethernet cable if you don’t have WiFi, a PC installation CD, a WiFi antenna, a camera mounting kit if you want to hang it, and AC adapter all inside that small box.
I know it seems like a lot of money for a monitor but honestly having the piece of mind and knowing your baby is safe is worth every penny right! I highly recommend it! It would make the perfect baby shower gift that’s for sure!

I would love this to keep an eye on my little guy when he is in his playroom and I am in the kitchen making dinner, etc.
Wow! Baby monitors sure have come a long way! I can totally see myself using that even if I don’t have babies! It would be great to keep an eye on the kids to see if they’re playing nicely together or making a huge mess upstairs! LOL!

These just keep getting better! My daughter is 11 and I wish this had been around when she was a baby. I used a monitor and it helped keep me calm so I could be in the other part of the house.

I have an 11-month old and have survived thus far without a baby monitor since we have such a little condo. I’m sure for my next baby we’ll be living in a mansion with a baby “wing” and I’ll make certain this is the monitor I buy 😉

Okay, if we have another child I am definitely getting one of these! I love that you can change the direction of the camera. I don’t know how many times I’ve moved the camera and later I look at the monitor only to realize it is pointing away from the crib! grr!
Video monitors were not that popular when my children were babies – I would so have loved this back then.
