Mickey Celebration Cinnamon Rolls!

Hey All!

Since Aladdin is coming out this week, I’m keeping with the theme of Disney goodness all week long. I’m dying to go to Disney World just so I can try one of their colossal Mickey Cinnamon Rolls. Since I can’t make it there any time soon, I figured I would make my own version at home and make it a rainbow celebration version. We are in the middle of the celebration at Disneyland, so why not make some colorful Mickey Celebration Cinnamon Rolls. Am I right? Everything is better with sprinkles!

I can’t tell you how much I love making these for breakfast.

They are beyond easy to make and here is how to make them!

  • 1 Container of Large Pillsbury Grand Cinnamon Rolls
  • 2 Containers of Small Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
  • Toothpicks
  • Parchment Paper
  • Baking Sheet
  • Rainbow Sprinkles

First you open the two packages of the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls and separate each cinnamon roll in the container. You also take out the icing and let it soften. Put your oven on the designated heat that it says on the packaging of the cinnamon rolls. You then place each of the large cinnamon rolls on your baking sheet. I could fit two complete Mickey cinnamon rolls on each of my baking sheets.

I placed a toothpick inside the smaller cinnamon rolls and stuck two of each roll with a toothpick onto the larger grand cinnamon roll.

It will look like you see below. You then add sprinkles to the whole Mickey Cinnamon roll. Press the sprinkles into the cinnamon rolls and into the cinnamon in the creases of the rolls. You also want to press down the cinnamon rolls so that they are all about the same even hight.

Bake the rolls for the designated time on the package and until they are golden brown. I usually put the icing from the packages on the oven so the heat from the oven will melt it down a little.

You then let the cinnamon buns cool but not so much that they get cold. You want them to be warm when you eat them. If you’re concerned about giving a kid a cinnamon bun with toothpicks inside of it, remove the toothpicks before serving to kids! Just had to state the obvious folks! You can take the toothpicks out and then reattach the ears with icing as you plate them for kids.

You then spread the icing onto all the Mickey cinnamon buns.

Last but not least, pour some sprinkles over the icing. You can never have too many sprinkles!

That’s it! You’re done! Serve them while they are nice a warm!

I know my family loves these just as much as I do! Who doesn’t love a yummy Mickey Cinnamon Roll? I know I do!

I hope you enjoy these just as much as I do!
