Our Rainbow Bubbly Baby Nursery Reveal!

Hey All!

We’re finally finished and are getting to reveal our rainbow baby nursery today! I can’t tell you how much I love this room. It’s my favorite room in our home now. I find myself just sitting inside it and staring at the room. This room wouldn’t have been possible with out some amazing brands who were so kind to help us furnish the room. We’ve got everything we need for our bubbly baby and I can’t wait for him to arrive! I cover every inch of this room, so get ready for a super long post everyone!

This amazing crib and changing table/dresser are from the amazing folks at Babyletto!

The crib is the Gelato 4-in-1 convertible crib with toddler bed conversion kit*.

The dresser is the Gelato 3-drawer changer dresser with removable changing tray*.

I loved both of these designs for our crib and changing table/dresser because they come with a feature that allows you to change out the feet on the crib and changing table/dresser to be different colors.

We chose the white color for both and the cool mint colored feet! They were out of the cool mint knobs for the changing table/dresser, so I got some wooden knobs myself and painted them rainbow using a non-toxic natural paint.

The knobs have a lead and phthalate safe, non-toxic finish just like the crib and changing table/dresser do.

That’s mainly why I loved and wanted our furniture to be from Babyletto for our nursery!

Babyletto furniture is made with the safest, most renewable materials available including sustainable New Zealand Pine, lead and phthalate free finishes, CARB II compliant MDF, and recycled cardboard packaging. Babyletto products are also created with a focus on smart convertible design and playful modern styling.

How cute does the changing table/dresser look with those knobs? LOVE IT! The changing pad cover was from a collaboration of Dylan’s Candy Bar and Land of Nod, which I bought a long time ago as we were planning for the baby. Sadly they don’t sell it any more and Land of Nod is now Crate and Kids! They have a ton of other cute changing pad covers you can choose from.

We got my dream diaper pail from the amazing folks at Dékor! It’s the White Dékor Plus* and I love it because it’s a hands-free diaper pail! It’s designed to make this unpleasant chore as easy as possible for you AND your budget. Unlike other disposal systems where you have to bend over, operate a lid, or even shove a soiled diaper halfway inside the diaper pail, Dékor diaper pails are 100% hands-free. After a diaper change, you are likely to have baby in one arm and the soiled diaper in the other. No one has a third hand to operate the diaper pail. You just STEP on the foot pedal, DROP the soiled diaper through the trap door, and you’re DONE! The plus can fit up to 60 newborn diapers and you can refill the clear plastic bags inside and make them any size you’d like inside the pail. If you’re using cloth diapers, you can get the Cloth liners for the pail and it will act like a laundry pail and hold the soiled diapers until you clean them. It will keep the smell of any diapers trapped inside too! I LOVE IT and can’t wait to get using it!

We added some fun colorful rainbow dots to the wall…

And some cloud shaped shelves. The shelf is holding some cute rainbow stacker toys and some fun Star Wars blocks I got for him at Star Wars Celebration some time ago!

Underneath the shelf is this fun LED Neon Rainbow Sign that I got from Target!

Over his crib is hanging this amazing felt ball garland that spells out his name Logan.

Spoiler alert! We’re naming him Logan! Yes it’s after Wolverine cause he’s a badass! Pardon my french. I also just loved the name and literally had a dream of the baby and that’s what I was calling him in my dream. We couldn’t figure out any other name we liked better, so Logan it is!

I got this cute felt ball letter garland on Etsy! You can get it customized with any name you want. I thought it would go perfectly in our baby room. It’s hanging off these cute colorful wall hooks from Ikea.

The crib mattress is from the amazing folks at Delta Children!

It’s the iComfort® Moongaze Foam Crib and Toddler Mattress* and it fits perfectly into our crib!

This is a great mattress for my baby! The mattress is very comfortable and it fits perfectly inside our new baby’s crib. It has the iComfort technology, which makes the mattress breathable and exactly what I was looking for in a mattress for our crib.

It’s the world’s first premium breathable memory foam featuring an infusion of heat conducting graphene material for supple comfort and an extra ability to whisk heat away. It was so important that the mattress be safe for our new baby. I also love that it has soy enhanced foam core delivers the firmness babies require. The infant side offers the firmness newborns need while the toddler side features a layer of EverCool® Gfx Memory Foam for the highest level of comfort.

I can’t wait to lay him down in his crib!

On the wall I hung some cute decorations and wall hooks. I’m using the wall hooks to hang our diaper bags and changing pads. I want a designated area for everything. This wall hook is also from Ikea.

The diaper bag and changing pad is from my friend Joy as part of her Oh Joy For Target baby line. I don’t think they make these print designs any more, but this is the same bag with another cute print from Oh Joy that is still in stock and comes with the changing pad.

I got this canvas and felt banner for the wall from Crate and Kids because anything that says bright on it is for me of course. They sadly don’t make it any more, but they have this one which is similar.

His white elephant hamper I surprisingly got at Home Depot!

This is my second favorite area of the baby room. It has his wall book shelves, his stuffed llama and giraffe, his little reading chair, and his toy chest and rainbow baskets to hold his stuffed animals.

The wall animal heads I got at Target.

The toy chest and cushion I got at Ikea. The knobs on the toy chest are the same knobs I made for the changing table/dresser, since I didn’t like the knobs it came with.

The pillows were from the Land of Nod and Care Bears collaboration from some time ago. Sadly they don’t make them any more.

The cloud pillow with his name on it is from Etsy and I’m in love with it! You can have it customized with any name.

These adorable rainbow baskets are from Pottery Barn Kids! You can get them in Large and Small sizes. I got one of each, but I wish I had gotten two large sizes. Oh well! They still look adorable to me!

This little chair covered in piñatas, pineapples, and rainbows is from Target and I had to have it for his room as soon as I saw it! They sadly don’t have it for sale anymore, so I’m glad I got it when I did!

I knew I wanted some rainbow book shelves for his room, but I refused to pay an arm and a leg for them, Sooooo I had some made for his room!

They were super cheap in comparison to what they cost at some kids furniture store and I got them made by an awesome New York designer who I found on Etsy. He even gave me a deal for ordering multiple. He also provided the drill bits, screws, and a video on how to hang them. I love this guy! You can check them out HERE!

We have a long mirrored closet in this room, which I hated, so I decided to cover it up with these cute tassel lined curtains. I got these at Target as well.

I wanted to hang some Disney love in his room, so we hung these Disney posters on his wall. When he gets older we’ll secure them better, but for right now we just hung them really quickly.

My mom had this cute little growth chart made with his name, which I hung on this unicorn wall hook. Almost forgot to mention the blinds are from Lowes and they are cordless and light blocking, so our baby can get a good night sleep.

That covers this whole side of the room, let’s move on to the rocking chair side of the room.

I got this rocker from Wayfair! It’s called the Lynda Rocking Glider.

I loved the color of it and I knew I wanted a rocking chair for his room. I had one when I was a baby and loved my rocking chair even when I was an older kid. I can’t wait to rock him in this chair and feed him.

I placed some cute pillows on it. The Think Big pillow came from Pottery Barn Kids and the little pink life preserver pillow came from the Museum of Ice Cream Pint Shop in NYC!

This rainbow candy pouf was also from that Dylan’s Candy Bar and Land of Nod collab and is no longer being sold.

I hung some of my favorite prints and banners on the wall over the rocker. Yes that is a hand drawn genie from Aladdin that was drawn for me by the actual animator from the film. The gum ball machine print is from Chris Uphues. The banners are actually from the dollar section at Target and the other wall print came free in the Babylist baby box I got for making our baby registry!

Our super adorable tree bookcase is also from Babyletto and it called the Spruce Tree Bookcase in green*!

I filled it with some of my favorite board books and regular books I read as a child.

There are so many amazing educational board books for babies these days. I’m obsessed with a board book line called Baby University. It literally teaches your baby everything from Math to Quantum Physics before they can even walk! I’m determined to have him skip a grade or two in school, so we’re making sure he’s going to be a little baby genius from birth! LOL. You can get these books individually on Amazon and they also come in a package of books.

And again with the Disney love, I put a Tsum Tsum Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers stuffed toy on the shelf as well. It’s like my favorite toy ever!

Underneath the shelve is a cute stool he can sit on and read his books as well. We got that also from Ikea.

On the door to the room we spelled out Logan with these cute stick on letters I got years ago at Target from one of Oh Joy’s first launches.

And lastly I got this cloud rug for the room, because I just felt the floor needed some color over the carpet. A cloud rug seemed like the perfect fit and it was super cheap on Amazon!

That’s the whole nursery folks! I hope you loved this look at our Rainbow #BubblyBaby Nursery. I also hope you love it as much as I do!

I love all the colors in the room! That dresser is adorable. I never decorated my babies rooms this cute.

  • I love the fun rainbow color theme. It reminds me of God’s promise to us.

  • Oh you did a wonderful job! I love the rainbow over the changing table. That will be an eye catcher when your baby is squirmy and I love that you put a comfortable chair in there because we didn’t have one. We had a rocking chair glider and while it was great to rock baby back to sleep, a friend of mine put a recliner in hers and I wish I would have done the same so that I could get comfortable during those sleepless nights. I absolutely love your bookshelf too!
