Starting My Credit Repair Journey!

Thank you Lexington Law Firm for sponsoring this post. A high service partner and consumer advocate that will help you fight for the credit you deserve!

Hey All!

Over the years I’ve made it no secret here on the blog that I’ve struggled with getting control of my finances and student loans. I’ve got a lot of debt that I’m still dealing with these days. After having a baby last year, I will admit it became even more of a struggle to get control of it all. I couldn’t work as much as I normally did before and after I had the baby. These scale backs really hurt us financially, and I’m still struggling to catch up. I’ve gotten behind on some of my bills and student loans and I’m trying to repair the damage that was done to my credit from falling behind on payments. I’m thrilled that I chose to have Lexington Law as a sponsor to help me navigate my road to repairing my credit and getting my finances under control.

After having the baby, it felt like I’ve literally been working to just pay bill after bill. I’d just cross one out and a new one would pop up in its place. Medical bills and student loans are the worst! It’s also beyond stressful. I have medical bills that I’ve been fighting and past due student loans that have damaged my credit. I hope to buy a home and a new car in the near future. In order for me to do that I have to get control of all of those bills, improve my credit score, and build my credit.

That’s why I chose to work with Lexington Law. They have all the tools and services I need to help me achieve my goals. I personally love that they have finance management tools, can provide help with identity theft, and will send out cease and desist letters to creditors who may be harassing you for payments.

I also like that they have a long-standing relationships with all three of the credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. These relationships, as well as a deep expertise in knowing how getting errors removed works, enabling the team at Lexington Law Firm to communicate more routinely and efficiently with clients like myself.

I hate that I made late payments. While a late payment or derogatory mark from a creditor may seem harmless to folks like myself, it can actually have long-standing consequences ,in some cases these can stay on your credit report for up to seven years. That’s not something I want to be on my credit report when I’m trying to buy a house!

Improving my credit score may take time, but I know it can be done with the help of Lexington Law. They believe every consumer has the right to good credit and that the law is on our side to help them fix mistakes. They also believe you have a right to a fair, accurate, and substantiated credit report. Lexington Law can help me navigate the credit repair process by using the law to fight for my right to good credit.

They are also affordable, which is great when you’re having issues with past-due bills like myself. They offer packages that meet every client’s needs and are month to month. You’re not locked into anything you can’t cancel. You can stop at any time once you no longer need their services.

I’m personally on the top-of-the-line package, which they call the best program. You can cancel at any time. You don’t have to pay right when you begin working with them. You simply pay a credit report fee the day you sign up! They start working before they even receive your first monthly payment.

It took no time to get my account set up and I’m thrilled to get started. I’m excited to see the positive changes I can make to my credit score in the next 6 months.

I know I can make that happen if I put my mind to it and work hard for the next 6 months. I’ve got these little affirmation cards to remind myself to keep going on this journey. I’m looking forward to the day when I’ll be smiling when I do our finances!

I’ll be sure to keep you posted with how it goes. Stay tuned as I’ll be sharing my credit repair journey here on the blog, on my Instagram Stories and IGTV. I’m confident I’ll achieve these goals with the help of Lexington Law.
