Our Amazing Embassy Suites Hotel Stay! #Family #Vacation

Hey All!

It’s been an insanely busy time for me and my family with the move and all the summer activities and plans San Diego Comic Con. We desperately needed at least a weekend away to get away from all the packing and now un-boxing. So you can imagine how excited I was to be selected as an Embassy Suites Ambassador by the fabulous Mom Central team since it gave us the opportunity to get away to stay at an Embassy Suites Hotel of our choice. As you all already know how much we love Embassy Suites if you read my previous post! I’ll refresh your memory if you didn’t read it. They are the perfect place to just get away for the weekend if you want some alone mommy time or to have any family trips it’s definitely always our choice of place to stay since the rooms are so large and their are so many great amenities!

When we arrived at the fabulous Glendale California Embassy Suites hotel to check in. We parked and entered one of the most beautiful lobbies I’ve ever seen. I was so excited to used my brand new Canon SLR camera there so I could capture the beauty of this hotel. I tried to get a good picture of the lobby from one of the higher floors as you can see in the picture below.

We approached the check in desk and I have never been greeted and treated nicer than at this hotel as the woman at the front desk was amazing. She asked us why we were staying and I told her I was a Embassy Suites Ambassador and she immediately comped our parking and gave me free internet! FREE INTERNET! That’s like music to a bloggers ears! She also gave us our room keys and gave us our free breakfast and mangers reception tickets.

I couldn’t help but want to check out the rest of the lobby so I sent the fiance’ and teen up while I explored the lobby with my nieces and future sister in law who lives near by and stopped by to say hi. The lobby has this very unique and snazzy elevator system that took you up to your floor.

It also had a beautiful restaurant…

And lounge area so you can check out the most amazing indoor pond and fountain I’ve ever seen! It was gorgeous as you can see by my pictures. I’m not just saying it!

The pond/fountain was huge! And just so you know these are all pictures I took myself and not from their site or professionally taken. They were all taken by me and my snazzy new camera.

The pond was filled with the most beautiful fish and adorable turtles!

The fish and turtles would swim up to you and would practically come out of the water! They were not afraid of people. As you can see in my pictures below they would literally come out of the water when you stood next to the pod. It’s as if they also wanted to welcome you to the Embassy Suites! What nice fish!

The kids were going nuts for the fish of course.

And as you can see the fish go nuts for the kids as well. The fish would practically huddle as close to the edge as possible to say hi and the turtles were watching as well from their rocks. The pond really is one of the most fabulous indoor ponds we have ever seen! I could literally stay downstairs the whole night just taking pictures of it. But we finally made it up to the room.

It had everything a blogger and a family would need! Like a Kitchenette with microwave, sink, mini fridge, and coffee maker!

A fabulous big screen tv and a great desk for me to blog on.

The bathroom was also spectacular!

It had everything you would need even if you forgot to bring maybe some shampoo or conditioner.

It even had a notice that told you where to find towels if you were going to the hotel pool!

The bedroom of course was filled with two extremely comfortable queen sized beds and it’s own flat screen tv, small desk, and dresser.

It also had a great alarm clock and lots of closet space through out the whole room. It really was a suite and not a plane old room!

We also went down for the managers reception and I love how personable and how happy the staff is to actually have you stay with them. It’s truly a unique experience that you won’t find at many hotels. They also served drinks and hors d’oeuvres to the families all staying at the hotel. It seems like family central since there were so many families staying there and it was so great to mingle with them for the reception.

By the end of the night all I could see were toes covered under a sea of blankets since everyone couldn’t wait to climb into the comfy looking beds. And they were extremely comfortable! We woke up and had the best breakfast ever served buffet style. You could have your own omelets made and had choices of everything from bacon to french toast! It was fantastic. To have meals included in your stay is such an amazing benefit for any family in my opinion. It will save you so much time, money, and sanity! I personally think staying at an Embassy Suites will save you money in the long run. For all the amazing pictures from our stay at Embassy Suites visit my GOOGLE PLUS Album!

I love this hotel and can’t wait to stay at another one. We’re also staying at an Embassy Suites for a day for Comic Con in San Diego! We can’t wait! It’s sure it’s going to Embassy suites for our entire Comic Con stay but it was booked up and we could only get one night. Sigh. It’s still going to be a fabulous time as well since the San Diego hotel is beyond amazing.
