Easy Dinners for the Family! Yummy Chipotle Chicken! #ComerJuntos

Hey All,

For those of you who are like me, as in you work and have a family, you all know making dinner can be a challenge. I honestly still don’t know how my mother did it when when I was a child. She would cook, clean, and work a full nine to five job and every night would still have a fabulous meal on the table for us every evening! It was no less than a miracle when I look back and think about it. Now that I have my own family I truly say how say miraculous it was that she was able to get it all done almost every night.

I will confess I don’t do as great as my mother did since with work, school, cleaning, blogging, and constantly something crazy happening in my daily life family dinners together can sometimes be very hard to achieve but I always do my best to try to achieve it at least once or twice a week. I feel having dinner as a family allows us to catch up on all that has gone on during the week. It keeps us involved in each others lives no matter what happens. When you have a teenager you will learn the importance of keeping yourself involved in your child’s life.

I was thrilled when I learned that Sierra Mist Natural has teamed up with Chef Aarón Sánchez, star of Food Network’s “Chopped” and “Heat Seekers.” I watch food network religiously so that I can find quick and easy recipes to do for my family, so I was excited to share this info on the fabulous Chef Aarón Sánchez!  Sierra Mist Natural and  Chef Aarón Sánchez have launched a new program called “Comer Juntos: Una Tradición Natural.” This show is designed to encourage families to eat together at the dinner table and share fun times over delicious Latin-inspired dishes.

“Some of my favorite memories bring me back to cooking in the kitchen with my mom, it inspired me to become a chef and that’s a testament to the power of food and family” – Aarón Sánchez.

I can relate greatly to how Aaron was inspired by his Mom, but I know this recipe is surely going to help me achieve my goals of at least having a sit down dinner at least 4 nights a week.

How about you? Do you love having family and friends over for an evening of cooking and dining? Sierra Mist Natural would love to know!
