Easy Pilgrim Mickey Thanksgiving Cupcakes!

Hey All!

Thanksgiving is tomorrow and if you’re still on the hunt for a last minute easy to make dessert, look no further than these super cute and easy to make Pilgrim Mickey Thanksgiving Cupcakes! They are perfectly festive and perfect for all your Thanksgiving festivities. Who doesn’t love cute little Pilgrim Mickey? I know I do! If you’re a Disney and Mickey fan these are the Thanksgiving day cupcakes for you!

You can make a dozen or how ever many you need for your Thanksgiving festivities.

Here is how to make them!

1 package of brown fondant
1 package of black fondant
1 mini circle cookie cutter
3 inch template cutout of a pilgrim hat
1 edible black marker
12 Cupcakes ( You can bake up or buy store bought cupcakes and hack them.)

Vanilla Frosting Ingredients:

3 Cup unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
6 Cup powdered sugar
5-7 tbsp. heavy whipping cream
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 large piping bag with large star tip
Red, yellow and orange gel food coloring

First you make the Mickey Pilgrim Hat and Ears out of fondant. Sprinkle some powder sugar onto a cutting board and roll out the brown fondant to 1/4 inch thick. Cut out the pilgrim hat and place onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Roll out the black fondant into 1/4 inch thickness and cut out 48 circles for the ears. Allow to dry for 3 hours! Using the black edible marker, draw a thick line in the middle of the hat. You then move onto making the frosting.

Using a standing mixer combine the butter, powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, vanilla, and mix on medium speed until combined and smooth. Divide the frosting into 4 bowls. Mix in 1 color for bowl, leaving the 4th bowl plain.

Place the piping bag into a large cup and fold the sides over.
