It’s Important To Shop Small On Small Business Saturday! #SmallBizSat

Hey Everyone!

Just a friendly reminder to shop small on Small Business Saturday November 24th! You can make a difference by shopping small! You’re community will thank you for it as it’s their biggest day of the year! Shopping at the small businesses in your community brings revenue and prosperity to your community. It allows the shops to flourish and it allows the community to flourish as well. Nothing can work with out your support and the businesses having customers who support their businesses.

I have to shop small as I know I couldn’t find those rare old fashioned candies I love in big chain store. I would never have candies like my favorite Satellite Wafers (yes those are a candy look it up) if I didn’t have a shop near me like Rocket Fizz, A small candy store in my neighborhood. I’d never get to enjoy those candies if it weren’t for them. I can’t find those candies any where else!

Our favorite bakery Big Sugar Bake Shop has some cupcakes and butter cookies we couldn’t live with out!  With everything going digital we can’t find good Comic book shops now a days, so I’m so thankful to have an amazing Comic Shop Earth 2 Comics that we visit every other week to shop!

We would lose so many amazing products and shops and culture if these small businesses didn’t flourish in our communities. This is why it’s so important to shop small! What the businesses in my neighborhood offer is unique and can’t be found any place else. It’s heartbreaking when I see a store I love close because they didn’t get enough business to afford to pay their rent. This really is a tragedy to a neighborhood in my opinion. Please Check out the small businesses in your community and please shop small on Small Business Saturday!

Join me on Saturday, November 24th and “shop small”! And if you plan to shop, Where do you plan to shop?

I’m making the pledge! I think it’s wonderful to support independent business and artists. I know they can sometimes be more expensive, but I love that the money pretty much stays in your community. Thanks for the reminder!
