Leftover Halloween Kisses Turkeys!

Hey All!

I know we’re all trying to get through eating all that Halloween candy, but try to save some of it as you can use some left over candy to make fun Thanksgiving themed DIYs. I’ve been sharing ideas like this since last week and I’m keeping the leftover party train going with these Leftover Halloween Kisses Turkeys! They are little turkeys made out of Hershey Kisses. I quickly threw these together. They aren’t perfect, but they are cute, fun, and easy to make. Kids will love them for Thanksgiving. You could put these as little place card setting pieces at a kids table. How cute would that be? Love it!

Here is how to make them!

  • 8 Hershey Kisses
  • 1 Sheet Brown Paper
  • 1 Piece Red Felt
  • 1 Piece Orange Felt
  • 16 Mini Googly Eyes
  • 1 Pack of Small Feathers in assorted colors
  • Glue Stick

First you cut 8 rectangles from the brown paper, approx. 2 ½ inches by 1 inch. You then cut 8 tiny triangle beaks from the orange felt, and 8 little wattles from the red felt. Just make sure you make them small enough to fit on the kisses.

On each Hershey kiss, glue on 2 googly eyes, a beak, and a wattle. Fold each brown rectangle in half, crease it well, then open it back up.

On the back half of the rectangle, dab glue all over it. Press 4 little feathers in a row on the glue. Fold the paper back in half and press on it for about 10 seconds. Open it up so the feathers are facing up in the air, and the bottom half the brown paper is flat against the table.

Lastly, you glue the Hershey kiss turkey to the bottom half and the feathers should be standing up behind the kiss.

That’s it! You’ve made your Hershey Kisses little Turkeys! How fun are these?! Love them!

I hope you enjoy making these cute little Thanksgiving turkey favors just as much as I did!
