Mini Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches & Pumpkins!

Hey All!

Today I’m sharing my final post in the fun series of Back to School posts, which I’ve brought to you as part of my collaboration with CVS/pharmacy. I wanted to save the best for last and it’s the most colorful and tastiest of all the posts! When you’re kids come home from school looking for a late afternoon snack, why not have some Mini Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches ready for those little hands to grab. CVS/Pharmacy has an awesome line of “Gold Emblem Abound” products which feature a No Stir Creamy Peanut Butter and Organic Strawberry and Organic Grape Fruit Spreads. Each product is free of artificial flavors and preservatives and contains 0 grams of trans fats. Additionally, the Gold Emblem Abound line includes products that are gluten free certified, sodium free, cholesterol free and contain sources of protein, fiber, omega-3s, probiotic cultures and potassium. I bet you didn’t know CVS/pharmacy sold Organic products? They sure do!

You’d be surprised at how amazing their Gold Emblem Abound products are! When I got my hands on this delicious Peanut Butter and Jelly Fruit Spreads, I knew I had to make some PB&J sandwiches. I couldn’t just make regular old sandwiches, I had to make them MINI and extra cute of course. That’s the way my family likes it and that’s the way I roll! You should know this by now if you follow this blog.

To make these adorable Mini Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches You’ll Need:

To make the Mini Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, you’ll first cut your bread slices into the small mini bread slices with you mini bread shaped cookie cutter. You can find this cookie cutter online.

You can get two mini bread slices per one slice of bread. You need to make enough to have tops and bottoms for all your sandwiches.

You then spread some of the Gold Emblem Abound No Stir Creamy Peanut Butter on the bottom slices of your mini sandwich bread.

You then spread a variety of the Gold Emblem Abound Organic Grape Fruit Spread

And the Gold Emblem Abound Organic Strawberry Fruit Spread on top of the peanut butter.

You then place the tops of the mini slices of bread on top of peanut butter and jelly. There you have yourself a mini cute PB&J sandwich.

You can make two varieties of this sandwich if you’d like.

I’m a firm believer in adding sprinkles to everything! You’d be surprised how much more your kids will enjoy these because they are mini and because they are covered in a little bit of sprinkles.

You just place a little bit of sprinkles in the middle of the sandwiches and you put them in a little colorful picnic tray to serve.

I put some little alphabet tissue paper under my sandwiches to give them a little added back to school touch! That’s two ways you can make this adorable little peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

When Halloween time comes around (It’s coming up fast), you can make these in the shapes of little Pumpkins! Who wouldn’t love a Mini Peanut Butter and Jelly Pumpkin Shaped Sandwich? I know me and my family would!

You simply do the same process as you saw me do above, except you use a pumpkin shaped cookie cutter. You then take some black icing and simply draw some pumpkin faces on the sandwiches.

You want to be careful when you pick these up to plate these. You don’t want to mess up those cute little pumpkin faces you drew on the sandwiches.

Those are three perfect little finger food snacks your kids can enjoy when they get home after school!

You can pair these Mini Peanut Butter & Jelly & Pumpkin Sandwiches with some Gold Emblem Abound Mango & Strawberry Fruit & Veggie Bars as well for the ultimate after school snack spread. These bars would also be great to hand out as an alternative to candy on Halloween!

From snacks that are high in fiber and protein to gluten-free options, Gold Emblem Abound has something to fit everyone’s unique lifestyle.

I hope these fun and tasty suggestions help you during this back to school and upcoming holiday season!
