My Lunchtime Routine With A Free Printable To Do List!

Hey All!

It’s the start of a new year and I’m just getting back to work after a much-needed break for the holidays. I will admit it’s been a challenge to get into a new daily routine with our baby. Being a working mom who also works from home is a challenge to say the least. I have to plan out my entire day or I can’t get anything done. I’ve got a daily routine now and I’m super excited to partner with Gorton’s Seafood to share my routine and easy meal option with you today!

With a baby, I can’t spend more than 30 minutes on my meals a day. I’m thrilled there are options like Gorton’s Fish Sticks to help me make delicious meals through out the week. They fit right into my daily routine.

They take about 30 minutes to cook and they go perfectly in a variety of meals and recipes. I love that they are made with high quality, sustainably WILD-CAUGHT Alaska Pollock. They have no fillers, no preservatives, no artificial colors or flavors, no hydrogenated oils, and no antibiotics!

I make recipes like this Loaded Fish and Chips recipes during the week. It’s super easy to make and fits right into my routine. I wake up, change the baby, feed the baby, keep him up for an hour or two and then put him down for a nap. We’re sleep training him at the moment and we’re on a feed, wake, and sleep schedule that we repeat every 4 hours. In between when he’s sleeping is when I have to do work and make my meals. I’m all about tasty meals that are quick and taste amazing. These Loaded Fish and Chips are a perfect fit!

If you’re like me and strapped for time, you’re going to love this Loaded Fish and Chips recipe. The chips are almost like animal style fries. Here is what you’ll need to make it.

  • Gorton’s Fish Sticks 100% Whole Fillets (Not Minced)
  • Any French Fries (Frozen or Homemade)
  • 1 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Cup Ketchup
  • 2 Dill Pickles, Finely Chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons of Yellow Mustard
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Agave
  • 1/2 Red Onion, Diced
  • 1 Cup of Shredded Cheddar Cheese

I use frozen french fries that I can bake at the same time as my Gorton’s Fish Sticks. They take the same amount of time to cook as the fish sticks, so I bake them in the oven at the same time. This saves time of course. I bake the fish sticks for 17 minutes and then take them out to turn the fish sticks over. I bake for another 10-12 minutes.

While the french fries and fish sticks are baking, I chop up my onions and dill pickles. To make the sauce, I then mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, dill pickles, yellow mustard, salt, pepper, and agave.

I like to make a lot of this sauce to save to use through out the week. You can store it in a plastic container and use it whenever you’d like to make this recipe. It keeps for about a week.

Once the fries and fish sticks are cooked, plate your fries and fish sticks onto a plate or basket. I prefer a basket. It makes me feel like I’m at a restaurant.

You then add the shredded cheese directly over hot french fries, top with onions and some of the sauce.

That’s it! You’re done. How yummy does this look folks? It’s super tasty folks!

It’s the perfect meal that I can easily eat while I work or make my daily to do list.

It’s become a routine for me to make a to-do lists in order to make sure I’m getting everything done through out the day. It helps me stay on track with everything I have to do with the baby. I can easily make my to-do list while I eat this tasty meal. I made my own to-do list template that I can print out and fill out each day.

If you need a to-do list to help with your own daily routine, you can download my free printable to-do list HERE!

I check off each task on the to-do list that I get done though out the day. I do what I need to do for the baby, get through my to-do list, make lunch and dinner, try to relax with my husband for a few hours and then get to bed.

I get up and do it all again the next day. It sounds exhausting I know, but I love every second of it. I wouldn’t change a thing, as nothing is better than being able to be home with my little bubbly baby.

I hope you enjoy this look into my daily routine and this yummy recipe as much as I do!
