Hey All!
I don’t know about you, but we’re busy planning our party for the 50th annual Super Bowl! We have a viewing party every year and it’s always so much fun for me to be the hostess with the mostess. I’ll be perfectly honest, my friends and family are coming to watch the game, while I’m more interested in watching all the funny commercials and all the tasty treats I get to eat. No one can disturb me or get up for food when the commercials are on. I don’t want to have people walking in front of the TV and blocking my view. That’s how serious I am about the commercials. I don’t want to miss one second of them! I digress…
Thankfully my home away from home, Target, has everything I need to make this year’s Super Bowl extra special. I recently headed on a #TargetRun to get all our Super Bowl party essentials – aka a lot of party supplies (paper plates, napkins, cups, etc) and food!
I was looking for a lot of red and green themed party supplies and they of course had everything I needed. I found an amazing assortment of plates, cups, straws, napkins and table covers.
The even had some football themed napkins!
I love these red and white striped cups because they can be reused. They are perfectly festive and fit our Super Bowl party theme perfectly.
I also headed to the Valentine’s Day section while I was at Target and I found these adorable mini foam finger Valentines. Even though they are Valentine’s Day themed, I figured they would be perfect for our Super Bowl party.
I also picked up an assortment of our favorite Super Bowl party treats.
We have a nice spread to munch on this year and it actually has a healthy twist, believe it or not.
I got chips and salsa, instead of greasy butter popcorn.
I got healthier options for our fries and chicken tenders.
These are sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, which I’m going to bake.
And these are actually Gluten Free chicken tenders instead of regular chicken tenders. They taste amazing!
I rounded out our tasty treats with some organic mini pizzas and some popped potato chips. It’s essentially healthier versions of our must-have Super Bowl treats. I’m always so amazed at all the incredible foods and décor you can find at Target. I can’t wait for everyone to see our fabulous Super Bowl party set up and food spread.
I know it’s going to be our best Super Bowl party yet! I almost forgot to mention I got some green construction paper from the school supplies section at Target and cut out “Go Team Go” for a little banner for the wall. It’s something simple and easy to do to make your Super Bowl party a little more festive.
If you’re looking to host a Super Bowl bash this year, I highly recommend you head out to your local Target ASAP or log on to Target.com to get everything you need for your party!
The food you’ll have to get in store of course, but you can probably get some of your party décor online if you need to.
What’s your Super Bowl look like for you? #howifootball
