Hey All!

As Disney’s Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast comes out on Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital HD Combo Pack soon, I thought I would celebrate with my family by having a little Pixie themed Ice Cream Party! As a Hispanic family, there is nothing that we love more than coming together to eat and be merry as we watch something we all enjoy. We love these movies as they always bring our family together and the messages are always about being there for each other and being proud of who you are no matter how different you may be. This is a funny and heartwarming adventure movie focusing on friendship; loyalty and the theme of “don’t judge a book by its cover.” This movie will feature one of Disney’s beloved characters, Tinker Bell, and introduce Gruff, a lovable new Disney character. Those are values we truly hold dear in our family. The Pixie Fawn in the film definitely showcases this message with her support of Gruff in the film.

For our movie night to watch the film I thought I would do a fun Pixie themed Ice Cream Party that we could all enjoy as we watch. You can shred some card stock and shimmery paper to make some festive confetti pixie dust to decorate the table.

You can then get some mini ball jars or baby food jars and fill them with different colorful and shimmering sprinkles. You can also get some colorful ice cream cups with some matching utensils for the party.

I also got some toothpicks and placed a sparkly pink pom pom on the top and wrapped a flag around each to name each of the sprinkles. You can make the flags by simply cutting some strips of card stock and cutting a triangle out of the edges. You wrap the strip around the toothpick and stick it together with a glue dot or tape. You them label each flag. Super easy and simple to make.

I of course labeled mine with a Pixie theme. We have Pixie Food…

Pixie Dust…

And last but not least Pixie Wafers.

You scoop some of your favorite flavor ice cream into your colorful cups and place some pixie sprinkles on top for the perfect pixie treat as you watch. It’s good enough for even Tinker Bell to want to eat!

Who wouldn’t love to eat a colorful pixie sundae as they watched Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast? I know I would!

It’s a simple easy way to have a small party for a fun family movie night!

If you’re looking for a fun movie the whole family can enjoy pick up a copy of Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast March 3rd and throw yourself a Pixie Ice Cream Party!
