I recently had the opportunity to review the Misfit Shine and I have to say it might be the most stylish fitness tracker I’ve ever reviewed. The Shine is not your typical fitness tracker, it’s more like a fashionable accessory. It comes with everything you see below.
You get a wrist band and a magnetic clip on accessory in case you don’t want to wear it all the time on your wrist. I was given the WINE color which is a deep red color. The casing is also waterproof up to 50 meters, which is great because I know I have ruined many fitness trackers by accidentally washing them. You don’t have to worry about that with the shine. It’s the only activity tracker that you can wear while swimming.
The Shine works with iOS devices and syncs wirelessly. You need to hold the device up to the app for it to sync. I will admit sometimes this is difficult, but most of the time it syncs very easily. You tap on the Shine to sync and you see the lights on the Shine light up.
The main aspect I love about the shine is that you can accessorize it. You can wear it as a necklace, on your wrist, or clip it on.
They offer two kinds of necklace options and also offer a leather wrist wearing option. It makes the shine very sleek and fashionable.
Like other apps it tracks your physical activity, steps taken, and estimates calories burned and distance traveled, so you can easily set and progress toward a variety of fitness goals. It also monitors your swimming.
The Misfit Shine is a great tracker for those who are seeking something stylish and functional.
