Hey All!
I recently had the amazing opportunity to visit Universal City, California to attend a special mother’s day blogger event at one of our favorite Universal Studios Hollywood! We got to experience some of the the theme park’s enhanced “VIP Experience,” which offers guests an exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the world’s largest movie and television production studio. It also includes an expert Studio Tour Guide, unlimited front-of-line privileges on all rides and attractions…
Entry to a reserved VIP Lounge, where a table will be reserved in your name and waiting for you to arrive.
The food is a fantastic Buffet filled with everything you could possibly want to eat for lunch and dessert!
The gourmet lunch is prepared by the theme park’s award-winning Executive Chef, Eric Kopelow. The lunch and tour were fantastic as you can see from my pictures! I love that they had The Simpsons Homer Doughnuts for dessert! They were adorable.
You take the tour on redesigned “VIP Experience” trolleys on Universal’s prolific production lot for an insider’s look through Hollywood’s proverbial red curtain. The celebrated experience caters to guests from around the world and is available in a variety of languages, including Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish and English and shines the spotlight on the glamorous world of movie making, motivated by three words: lights, camera, action.
It’s a full-day adventure through the amazing studio and park! The “VIP Experience” provides guests with a rare, up close and personal peek at the movie making process by accessing areas of the Studio lot typically restricted to authorized movie production personnel. Another exciting component affords “VIP Experience” guests the possibility of seeing stars as they stroll about, given the volume of ongoing movies and television shows currently shooting on the lot.
The “VIP Experience” invites guests to disembark the trolley and walk through several television sets currently being used in the production of such shows as NBC’s “Parenthood,” FOX’s “The Mindy Project” and “Chelsea Lately” on E! Entertainment Television. The tour also takes guests, both on foot and via trolley, through the Studio’s historic backlot sets made famous in over 8,000 movies and television shows.
The best part is you get to also beat the lines and ride all the amazing lines with the front of the line passes. You have to check out the new “Transformers: The Ride–3D,” based on the iconic brand from Hasbro and electrifying film franchise, directed by Michael Bay. The ride has an inventive storyline, spectacular action sequences and amazing special effects that revolutionizes the theme parks ride perceptions as a cutting-edge mega-attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood.
The dynamic, motion-based thrill ride tells an original “TRANSFORMERS” story using original, photo-realistic 3D-HD media, sophisticated special effects masterminded by Industrial Light & Magic, and one of the most elaborate roaming flight simulator ride systems ever created. You also don’t want to miss the Simpsons ride. It’s a fantastic ride as well.
If you are ever visiting Los Angeles and want to visit Universal Studios Hollywood be sure to do it with the “VIP Experience”!
I highly recommend it!
