Hey All!
I recently had the amazing experience of visiting the Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto in Mexico. It was my first time in Mexico and it was a fantastic experience to say the least. Who wouldn’t want to visit a gorgeous all inclusive resort in paradise? Guests who visit Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto see first-hand the magnificent beauty of the region. Maintaining those unspoiled views, crystal clear water and rich, healthy environment is just a part of what makes this resort so fabulous. I was thrilled to spend my time at this resort.
As soon as I arrived to the heavenly oasis of a resort we were treated with a washing of the hands ceremony. It feels really refreshing as it cools you down from the warm weather.
I was also treated to a short massage from the director of the spa who came all the way from Canada to work at the resort.
This is just part of the 5 star welcome I received as soon as I stepped onto the property.
We then took a tour of the resort which includes the fabulous Sabila Spa is an ultra-luxurious facility that offers an incredibly peaceful mountain view and has fully-equipped wet areas with soothing sauna, relaxing spa tubs, cold water plunge and many other high-quality areas.
Sabila Spa tantalizes all your senses with a plethora of traditional and modern treatments that leave you totally transformed. Plus, this relaxation haven is situated right next to the resort rooms and gym. Many guests find that finishing their workout is a lot easier to complete when they have a spa treatment afterwards.
Massages also are available on the beach or in the privacy of your room. The Sabila Spa also features aromatherapy, reflexology and hydrotherapy specials. I got a 30 minute massage at the spa which was very relaxing.
As we toured the property we learned Villa del Palmar Resort at the Islands of Loreto and world-renowned golf architect Rees Jones, also known as the “U.S. Open Doctor,” will be adding a spectacular 18-hole Danzante Bay Golf Course to the resort. You can see the early stages of the building process in the image above. The 7,400-yard course will tout magnificent views of Danzante Bay and the Sea of Cortez to the East, as well as the Sierra de la Giganta mountain range to the West.
The first phase of the golf course will open in November 2014 with ocean-facing holes closest to the resort, a clubhouse featuring ocean views, as well as an 18-hole putting course that will be a miniature version of the larger course where families can practice together. In addition, it is slated to open with a state-of-the-art practice facility situated toward the mountain range and a Pro Shop with quality rental clubs and golf cart rentals. Golf lessons with a professional instructor will also be available.
The decor of the resort is also spectacular and reminiscent of the vibrant culture of Loreto.
Who doesn’t love a resort decorated with Pineapples?
The resort is truly a hidden paradise and it’s the perfect place to host a wedding. They offer packages for wedding and will help you capture your once in a lifetime beach wedding. I wish we had gotten married here as who wouldn’t want to have a beach wedding with this view?
The sleeping accommodations at the resort are also spectacular. We’ll chat about the rooms in a minute, but one amazing experience the resort offers is Glamping aka Glamorous Camping.
The Glamping tent seen below is air conditioned and features it’s own ceiling fan, lounge area, full sized bed, shower, sink, vanity, telescope, jacuzzi, and it’s own personal butler!
The amazing manager of the resort Sixto (who you can see below) gave us this spectacular look at their Glamping experience. All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
You get 5 star treatment as you sleep under the stars on the beach with this amazing view. It’s the most fabulous camping experience you can have.
The rooms at the resort itself are also spectacular. All the suites either come with a kitchenette or full sized kitchen. Seen below is the base model deluxe suite.
This resort is not only great for couples, it’s great for families. The kitchens allow families to cook with in their rooms should they feel the need. The rooms are also large enough to fit families easily. They also offer an arcade and kids club for children to enjoy.
I had the privilege of staying in a large one bedroom suite. It contained this spectacular full kitchen…
This huge jacuzzi bathtub and not one but two bathrooms!
When I entered the bedroom area they had spelled a very sweet welcoming message on the bed.
They had learned I had just gotten married so they wanted to wish me congrats in such an adorable way. Another amazing feature is each night when I returned to the room, a delicious treat and adorable rock design was waiting for me in my room. This is an actual part of the hospitality features of the resort. They knew I loved Pineapples so they made me a Pineapple out of the rocks. It’s just one aspect of how much care and detail is paid to the guests of the resort.
The treats are delicious and all made fresh daily at the resort! The one bedroom suite also has a huge double balcony where you can relax and enjoy the view.
It’s one heck of a view don’t you think? See below. The multiple pools, jacuzzi’s, and hammocks are a sight to see lining the bay.
For a romantic night in for couples they can spice up the room with mood lighting…
Swan towels on your bed and a fresh drawn bubble bath. The rooms are so fabulous spending time in your room is a must!
The amenities, design, and views are one of a kind at The Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto. It’s truly a unique resort experience you won’t find any place else in the world.
This magnificent sunset sums up what makes this resort so special.
